Cameron’s P.O.V

“We need to find a way to get Freya back!” I told the witches and my father. “There is no way that I’m letting them take away her magic so they can take her life! We have to save her!”

“Son, we’re all trying-”

“Trying?” I snapped at my father, my Alpha, cutting him off. “All we are doing is sitting inside a room and chatting around merrily while my ‘mate’ is out there, god knows in what condition! Would you be ‘trying’ if this was mom in Freya’s place?”

“Cameron!” My father growled at me, the sound fierce as it echoed around the room.

My wolf whined inside my head, because even though I was the future Alpha, my powers were nowhere near as dominant as his. But still I didn’t back down. My mate was in danger. And I was done sitting around!
