Daemon tugged her away, walking so fast that Zina kept staggering behind him. But as his hold on her was a strong one, she didn't fall.

They were about to enter his wing when an all too familiar voice interrupted their strides.

"Alpha King Daemon."

Daemon stopped abruptly causing Zina to bump into him until her face was squashed against the cloth of his back. She backed off, eyes widening as Modrich WolfKnight stood before them.

Strangely, she no longer felt the intense anger she felt for the disgusting man. Maybe it was because she had full knowledge of the reason that had brought him to stand before Daemon at that very moment.

"And for what reason does Alpha Modrich assault me at this ungodly hour?" Daemon asked although his tone conveyed that he didn't care for the man's response either
