I couldn't believe they were there, looking at me with bizarre expressions, as if I were a lamb led to slaughter.

"It seems it didn't take you long to find this place," Alistar said with a chilling smile.

"What do you mean? What's going on?" I asked, my heart pounding.

I had no idea why they were there. It was beyond strange.

Alistar slowly walked towards the table, and I instinctively stepped back to keep my distance. "Never wondered why I only appeared at night?" he asked, his voice taking on a sinister tone. "Or why the only time I went outside was when there was no sun?"

I was starting to suspect something, but it was so unbelievable that I didn't want to accept it. Could Alistar really be...
