I quickly got exhausted after only performing each of the Jutsus one time.
My chakra was barely that of a low-Genin, meaning at max around three C-Rank Jutsus until I'm exhausted.
After I had exhausted myself, I began going through my physical abilities: Shurikenjutsu, Taijutsu, and Kenjutsu.
While chakra does drain some of your stamina, close-combat fighting tends to drain it faster than using Ninjutsu.
And so, I practiced every single fighting style I knew, redoing the Katas and techniques to ensure I had them down.
I hadn't gained the real experience Katsuro had, but instead, I gained the practical knowledge of all his fights.
So, I had no 'real' fighting experience per se, but it's as if I've watched a lot of them.
Honestly, it sucked a bit that I wasn't blessed with a large chakra reserve, but I didn't let that put me down.
After performing all the Jutsus, I went home.
It was an apartment in the central part of the village, temporarily given to us until we were willing to move back into the Clan Compounds.
It was a small apartment, three rooms: a kitchen/living room, a bathroom, and a bedroom.
I got a good night's sleep and took some barbecue home.
The next day, I began my true training.
I found myself in front of a tree, standing in Training Ground 14.
The plan was to spend the next seven days getting this technique down and perfecting it.
The advanced body-flicker Shisui had given me upon his death required a good amount of chakra control.
What made it unique was that it created afterimages and allowed you to repeatedly utilize the Body-Flicker Jutsu.
It wasn't instant teleportation; instead, you used a lot of smaller body-flickers, which made it easier to change direction.
The downside was that you had to stop to initiate another body-flicker or slow down, which allowed the enemy to see you, as well as the tunnel vision.
My Sharingan nullified the tunnel vision, which was great.
And Shisui's technique fixed the problem of the enemy seeing you when you slowed down to start another body-flicker by creating an afterimage every time you stopped, which would confuse the opponent.
Of course, some could still see your body-flicker, but as your physical state improved, so did your speed, and as your control improved, so did your speed.
So, it wasn't instantly invincible and instead required a lot of training.
Additionally, the advanced technique removed all smoke. Along with the clones, it would look as if your body shifted between the afterimages, letting you appear in one without the enemy noticing and attack from it.
It would look as if you replaced yourself with an afterimage.
Lastly, the technique required three hand signs at the start and one per body flicker, which would be annoying until I got it down to zero.
This improved the ability to confuse opponents, which was its true strength.
With that in mind, I turned towards the tree.
Good luck to me.

The Genin test included two official parts and one unofficial one, at least from the Genins' perspective.
The first part was the written test, which included multiple battle scenarios and questions. For example, if an enemy was 100 meters away, would it be more efficient to use a shuriken or a kunai?
Another question could be something like, if you and your Jounin squad faced a team of one Jounin and two Chunins, whom would you attack?
Essentially, basic questions requiring some logic.
I handed in my papers in second place, right after a girl named Sayo Fuma, the top kunoichi in our class.
Surprisingly, she approached me to talk after the Clan's Massacre. Of course, I'd received a lot of pity comments and other stuff, but this was the Princess of the Fuma Clan, the heiress.
She was also anti-social, like me.
In the manga and series, the Fuma Clan took over the Police Department after the massacre.
The ANBU handled the criminals for about a year until the Police Headquarters were reformed under the Fuma Clan.
Putting that out of my mind, I walked back to my chair and sat down.
The next part was the physical exam, which began with performing the Clone, Transformation, and Substitution Jutsus. Passing that allowed you to perform another Jutsu to impress the judges.
Lastly, you could opt for a Taijutsu test, but I wouldn't bother.
No one else in the class could perform at my level.
And so, I relaxed a bit as I waited for the next part to begin.
It took 20 minutes until the last person turned in their answer.
The head teacher took the papers and left, likely to get someone to grade them while he conducted the Jutsu test in the other classroom.
One by one, we were called out by our last names.
I was in the 'U' section, so I was last.
I waited there for 45 minutes until my name was finally called, and I walked into the room.
Inside, two teachers sat—the main and sub teacher.
The main teacher was named Goro Akimichi, and the sub was Iruka Umino.
"Ah, Katsuro, welcome," Akimichi said with pity, but quickly continued.
"Please start by performing the Transformation Jutsu," he said, and I nodded, performing the necessary hand seals.
'Dog -> Boar -> Ram'
And with that, I transformed into the Third Hokage; they had a picture of him there if anyone wanted to attempt the task.
I had never bothered to train the Transformation Jutsu further once I got it down.
"Excellent, a perfect transformation," Iruka said, and I smiled at that.
"Now, please perform the Substitution Jutsu. You may switch with anything in this room," Akimichi said.
I then performed the hand seal I needed.
'Snake'
Instinctively, I activated my Sharingan; without it, I would suffer from tunnel vision.
I ended up beside the proctor, replaced by a chair next to him.
"Only one hand sign, excellent. Now, perform the Clone Jutsu," the proctor said as I walked back.
'Ram -> Snake -> Tiger'
I performed the necessary hand signs, and four clones appeared around me with a puff.
"Good. Do you wish to perform any other Jutsus?" the proctor asked, and I nodded.
"Yes, I'd like to perform the Fire Release Jutsus, Flame Dragon, and if possible, the Great Fireball Jutsu." I told them, slightly shocking them, though not too much. After all, Uchiha were known to know at least one C-Rank Jutsu before graduation.
"Very well, let's step outside before you perform them," Akimichi said, standing up and leading us onto the roof.
"Here, you may perform them when ready," Goro said.
'Snake -> Rabbit -> Tiger' I performed the hand signs, took a deep breath, angled my mouth toward the sky, and muttered as I released my breath, forming a ball of fire with two eyes in front, traveling in a straight line for 13 meters before exploding.
I smiled, as it usually only traveled for 10 meters max, but I'd infused it with a bit more chakra.
The instructors were impressed, and Iruka noted something down on his paper.
Then, I began moving my hands again.
'Snake -> Monkey -> Horse -> Tiger' This time I cut two hand signs.
I took another deep breath and muttered.
"Fire Release: Great Fireball Jutsu."
I released a massive fireball, four times as tall as me and as wide as one and a half of me laid down.
It traveled three meters before exploding, creating a much larger and more devastating blast than the Flame Dragon. Again, I'd added extra chakra.
I turned to face the proctors. Iruka looked dazed, but Akimichi just shrugged it off as if it was nothing; I suppose clan members see a lot.
"Good job, Katsuro. You've grown a lot. Congrats on successfully becoming a Genin," he said as he handed me a headband.
I smiled and nodded, then plastered it onto my forehead. I looked like a straight-up copy of Shisui.
Not that I'd complain.
"Come back in a week for the formation of your Genin Squad," Goro said, and I nodded, heading off.
Now that I'd officially mastered the Tree-Climbing Exercise, it was time for the Advanced Body-Flicker.
I hadn't fully mastered Tree-Climbing, but I completed it three days ago and spent the last three days perfecting and experimenting with it.
Now, I was confident I could nail the Body-Flicker by the Jounin test.
But I wonder who my teammates and Sensei will be. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if it was Kakashi. He was chosen as Sasuke's for his Sharingan and a bit to keep Naruto in check.
I'd likely become the top Shinobi, maybe paired with Fuma Sayo?
And possibly that Inuzuka kid, who was dead last or something, if I'm right.
Putting that thought aside, I returned home.
Sasuke was waiting.
"So you passed, as expected of an Uchiha," he said, looking a bit excited. He'd already grown his superiority complex, but I didn't care.
"Did you get the key from Hiruzen?" I asked.
The Uchiha Library allowed only Uchiha Chunins or above, though Main Branch Genins could access the C-section.
B was for Uchiha Jounins or Main Branch
Chunins, while the A section was restricted to the Clan Head.
"Yeah, he was nice and gave it fast. I guess he expected our arrival," Sasuke said, and I nodded.
"Well, let's go," I said, and we began walking to the Clan Library.
The Uchiha Compound was guarded by two ANBU squads, requiring us to present a document confirming Sasuke's status as heir.
Hiruzen had only given it since I was now technically a Genin, granting me Library access.
The ANBU took the key after the massacre, while Hiruzen held many of our property ownership papers, money, and other assets.
Thankfully, Hiruzen was kind-hearted; plus, he knew stealing from the founding clans was unwise.
We chatted briefly until we reached the Clan Library.
Technically, Sasuke wasn't allowed to enter, but I sure wasn't going to stop him.
And with that, we walked in.
We quickly spread out, with me heading to the Genjutsu section; Genjutsu: False Surrounding Jutsu was what I eventually picked out, alongside a few other books.
After gathering those, I looked around a bit until Sasuke and I left.
