The world was dark. No light seemed to break through the thick layer of ice that lay at the top of the frozen lake.
Yet Caspian could see with little difficulty. Unfortunately, his sight wasn't going to save him today.
He was drowning and death was imminent.
Caspian had a panicked look on his face as he tried to wrestle free of the ropes that bound him. Bubbles rolled out of his lips as he screamed and tried to gain control of his slow torturing descent. If he could just free himself maybe he would still have enough time to swim out.
But unfortunately, the strange man was efficient in his rope binding arts.
He still fought though wiggling in desperation and helplessness. If he had thought drowning in a toilet was bad, this was hell… something he wouldn't even wish on Trevor– his bastard bully.
Now that he was sinking below the frozen lake he could now see the mountainous form of the Dark Calamity in all its horrid glory.
It harboured way more seething black tendrils than Caspian could have ever imagined, with a part of its head still submerged in water.
The aura it gave was thick and severe and it only got more aggressive the more it absorbed that red Will.
Luckily the thing didn't seem to have noticed Caspian. Maybe it didn't even care, and neither did Caspian.
He was dying in one of the worst ways after all. Dying like a slave.
It was terrifying, so much so that he eventually let himself go, he stopped the struggle and let the air he desperately held onto ease out of his lungs.
'So soon?.'
All he did was catch a glimpse of his future self's memories and now look where he was drowning to death.
He was still a Calamity though, so his death would be sure to be long and torturous.
As he sunk deeper his eyes were kept on the massive creature above as it sent its tendrils rushing out of the lake to its defence, against one of the strange man's attacks.
As he watched the abomination or more accurately its core, Caspian couldn't help but wonder where the red mist was coming from. He kept his dull eyes glued to it for a while.
Soon he began to pick up on gaunt strings of red Will that connected the mist in the abomination's body to the deep darkness of the lake.
When he saw it he couldn't unsee it again. The once dark world was now being bathed softly by a red hue pulsing feel in the water.
Not long after Caspian got a closer look. The red Will strings were connected to a massive black stone pulsing with Red Calamitous Will.
'What the hell!'
Caspian cursed letting bubbles roll out from between his lips, as he stared at the jagged stone in awe.
The pressure from the stone was so intense it Caspian could almost not stand it.
Soon enough Caspian saw one of the red strings attach itself to his person, and then the very next moment everything went dark.
"What's happening?!"
Caspian said, even more stunned by the fact he could hear his own voice. It was strange because he could still feel himself submerged in some liquid of some sort.
Soon a red hue had begun to pulse in the darkness far beneath him.
The red light only grew brighter and even more fierce the more time passed. The weight and pressure the red light gave off was hot and it was slowly getting more intense. It was strange to Caspian that despite how menacing the aura was, he wasn't entirely threatened by it.
Soon he noticed a soft golden glow spread from his core outwards, shrouding him entirely in its warmth. The film of golden light was Celestial Will although very thin.
The next moment Caspian was standing right before a restless body of red light. His now golden body was so close to the red Will, he could almost touch it.
When he stretched his hands out to do so, the Celestial Will that covered his entire body soon began to turn into a purple glow.
As it changed hue an indescribable pain cursed through his black space. Almost like an array was being formed body. From his heart to his core it was all lost like they were combusting. The now-purple Will soon started forming strange patterns in him.
The arrays formed began to spread out circling and bounding the red Calamitous Will in a bracelet of glowing purple Will.
Caspian shrieked inhumanly.

A couple of moments prior
As the sheet of frozen ice that laid upon the water broke apart. Faux couldn't help but panic a little.
The Calamity had fallen in with both hands tied, if he didn't act fast he would fail his mission and the boy would die. He couldn't send a clone after the boy because of how occupied the dark Calamity was keeping him.
While dodging a bunch of the creature's arms Faux noticed as Deven tried to jump into the freezing lake.
'She'll doe stupidly.'
Faux was sure as he had observed her Celestial Will and noticed that it was yet to form a core. Because of that, she would only end up freezing to death if she went after him.
The drowning kid could only survive a dip like that due to his Calamitous body.
Right before the girl could hop in though Makima appeared right beside her stopping her from doing so. Faux observed her and her familiar as she explained to Deven why she had to be the one to go after Caspian.
So while Makima prepared to dive in Faux kept the abomination away from them. At one point he gathered a bunch of his Will and poured it into his blade. Just like the last time he got close enough and fortunately landed the blow this time.
The creature rose more tendrils to its defense but it wasn't enough to protect it entirely. The black bolt Faux had shot at it kept it incapacitated for a bit.
Then when he turned back to where Deven was standing Faux had a deep frown on his face.
"Go after him already!"
He yelled staring at the frozen Makima with a deep frown. She stood hunched over with her head faced down.
Faux could feel a strange aura permeating around her and soon an array of symbols began to surround her.
"What is she doing!"
Faux frowned as he ran toward her only to be swatted to the side by one of the abomination's many limbs.
He was quick to get back on his feet. Only a bit of blood spilled from between his lips so he was fine.
He peered over at Makima and saw red and purple mist circling her and her familiar.
The two wills soon combined to form a force dark pink flame that quickly formed a crown on her head.
Her eyes were wide and unreadable, was she stunned or slowly losing her senses?
Soon the lake had begun to seethe restlessly, tossing about as it boiled. Faux seeing this bolted at Makima, with his face calm and unhurried.
He gathered his Will once again, barely holding anything back.
'Whatever she is up to, I have to end it quick.'
This time he easily dodged the abomination's arms and soon he was right before Makima.
When he rose his sword to her neck the space around him trembled.
Somehow she had managed to raise her blade just in time, and when the two blades met the whole lake quaked.
It barely showed but Faux was stunned.
Before he could attack again her familiar struck back but Faux was quick to dodge.
At this point, the lake was like a sea in a storm. The ice capes they stood on were shattered drifting about restlessly on top of the waters.
Red light soon began to spread from within the water, and with it came a chilling aura.
"What have you done?!"
Faux asked still a bit confused. He was sure what exactly she was up to but he was sure of one thing.
'This presence… it's the damned kid.'
Makima had a warm smile on her face when she turned to Faux.
"Nothing really just got a new toy."
