Still confused about why they wanted to have him executed, BQ made more inquiries and he came to know the reason behind their plan.

BQ disclosed their plans to Brian, and warned him to leave town with immediate effect. But he had to devise a means of making Cynthia and her mother believe that he has done the job, so he asked Brian to lie down on the floor, and pretend that he's dead, robbing a reddish liquid all over his body as proof of blood, while BQ took pictures of him.

Brian was grief-stricken. His dream of securing a high-paying job for a better future seems unattainable, as he has been betrayed by the people he trusts.

Brian couldn't wait for his flight, which is scheduled for Sunday. He gathered his belongings immediately and ran off to the country of Ionia. He expended all he had, making him run out of money because of the unplanned journey.
