章 39: CH39; Cheating
As Zhang Lian and the cat were talking, the situation between Bai Dia and Jian Yu had turned into a fight.
What started as a sex competition quickly turned into a physical struggle, with both trying to overpower the other & it looks like Bai Dia is actually getting the upper hand.
When Zhang Lian saw the change, She gave the order, "Stop." Bai Dia and Jian Yu instantly stopped, staring at the queen & wondering as to why she had stopped them.
"Why are you fighting?" With a serious tone, Zhang Lian asked. They exchanged a look but had no explanation. After giving it some thought, Zhnag Lian said, "Wait here. After I bring you something, it can help you to have a proper sex fight."
Zhang Lian went out of the bathroom and walked to a nearby table. She pulled open a drawer and took out a tiny pink bottle from the inside.
With its head shifted, the cat asked, "So that's why you asked for this pill from the doctors?" as it flew around her.
Zhang Lian nodded.
Cat said, "I thought you wanted it for yourself, so you could enjoy yourself while having sex."
Zhang Lian smiled. "This aphrodisiac will make them have a great time." With this she went back to the bathroom.
Zhang Lian went back to the bathroom only to find Bai Dia and Jian Yu standing there, still looking at one another with an intense determination to win. They were clearly frustrated and ready to fight to death.
Zhang Lian took out two pink pills from the bottle, putting the bottle into her gown pocket. "Take this now. She holds up a pill and raises her hand to them, saying it will determine the winner."
Jian Yu looked at the pill worriedly. "Your Highness, What is this?"
"Stop making questions. Just understand that this will lead to the best sex you've ever had, so don't worry," Zhang Lian bitterly replied.
Determined to show that she could win, Bai immediately took the pills from Zhnag Lian's hand and took in it.
Jian Yu, though still hesitant, did the same, took the pill from Zhnag Lian's hand and swallowed it too.
The effects of the medicine took hold of them both in a matter of moments. They experienced an outburst of strong sexual desire, and their natural instinct took over them and they immediately became wild in sex.
Zhang Lian stepped back, watching with satisfaction as the two began to Take it seriously. The cat, flying beside her, commented, "Nya, now they're doing it properly."
Zhang Lian nodded, pleased. "Indeed."
The two gave the task all of their energy for the next ten minutes, their bodies moving with an incredible level of effort. They were clearly exhausted as the drug's effects started to wear off, and their movement slowed.
Zhang Lian observed them closely, then spoke, "Nice. I think I need a chair."
The cat, enjoying the show, disagreed, "Nya, why go outside? Just sit on the floor. The show is almost over, and I was really liking it."
Zhang Lian's face grew serious & she quickly left the bathroom, taking the cat with her forcefully.
Saying, "No, No, I wanted to watch the show, nya," Cat protested.
Zhnag Lian replies, "Don't talk for now, just watch. It's important. Don't disturb me for some time."
Zhnag Lian's eyes quickly turn red, almost giving the impression that she might cry at any movement, she also looks sad.
Then she went on to the door of the room and opened it from the inside. The guards outside were alerted by the sound of the door opening. They watched in surprise as Zhang Lian came out, her face dripping with tears and her eyes red.
With an expression of concern on his face, one of the guards who had been proud to serve the queen moved forward and asked, "What happened, Your Highness? Why are you crying?"
Zhang Lian massaged her eyes like a sad young girl, tears coming out of them. "I think my husband is cheating on me with my maid," she was crying.
The guards were stunned. One of them, his voice full of doubt, asked, "What? How could that be? You are so beautiful, Your Highness. How could he cheat on you? And with your maid? Isn't this your first night? Why would he do that and also how did you know?"
"I was sleeping after our night together, but then I heard strange noises coming from the bathroom," Zhang Lian said, her voice trembling."
"So, I woke up and went to check, there I saw him with my maid," with more tears coming out of her eyes, while saying this.
"He could have just told me, if he liked her and didn't want to be my concubine. I could have chosen someone else. He didn't have to cheat on me like that." More tears flowed out of her eyes, as she spoke.
She continued and they are still doing it, causing the guards to become emotional as she keeps crying.
The cat, watching from a distance, spoke, "Nya, you're too smart."
Zhang Lian ignored the cat. One of the guards, his face red with anger, drew his sword. "How dare he! A concubine, cheating on the queen on his first night?"
The guards were villagers, but they understood the seriousness of the situation. To them, concubines were there to entertain or assist someone in having offspring rather than being legally married. The idea of one cheating, especially on the queen, was unforgivable.
The other guard quickly added, "Don't shout. We don't want them to get alert. Let's see for ourselves. Your Highness, if he's actually doing this, I'll kill them both myself" in an order to comfort her.
"Your Highness, don't worry—we'll keep this a secret. It won't harm your reputation."
The other guard nodded in agreement. Zhang Lian, trying to control her tears, nodded back and took them into her room & then to her bathroom.
As they came close to the bathroom, the sounds of the two people being inside the bathroom reached their ears, confirming Zhang Lian's story. Without hesitation, the guards raised their swords and stormed inside, their eyes widening in shock at what they saw.
Jian Yu and Bai Dia sleeping together, their faces flushed with satisfaction, clearly exhausted from their activities. The guards became angry by the sight.

"You were really cheating on the queen, and in her room too! Don't you have any shame?" one of the guards shouted, his voice filled with disgust.
Jian Yu and Bai Dia, still under the influence of the drug, looked up in confusion.
Their minds were dizzy, and upon seeing the guards, they tried to cover up their naked bodies with their hands.
Confused, Jian Yu said, "What are you doing here?" This is the queen's bathroom! & If the queen becomes aware that you entered without permission, you will die—"
But before he could finish, one of the guards, now furious, raised his sword high. "How dare you speak nonsense after what you've done!"
The guard's sword swiftly cut through Jian Yu's neck in one motion. Blood splattered on the bathroom white tiles.
Jian Yu's head hit the floor, his eyes showing surprise as the light faded swiftly. Next to it, his body collapsed onto the floor & blood rapidly came out of his neck.
The second guard approached Bai Dia, his eyes furious. As soon as she realized what was happening, his sword fell toward her.
With a final, motionless expression of fear, her head rolled off. Her lifeless body dropped next to Jian Yu's, their blood combining.
The guards, their anger still burning, stood over the motionless bodies, breathing deeply.
One of them spat on the floor and used a nearby cloth to wipe his sword. "These perverts got our swords dirty," he said darkly.
The other guard nodded, turned with disgust. "Yeah. They were worthy of it."
The guards left the bathroom and outside it they discovered Zhang Lian waiting, her eyes swollen and red as though she had been crying.
She screamed with shock spreading across her face as she noticed the blood on their clothes. Her voice shaking, she exclaimed, "You... you killed them?"
"You could have let them live!" She started crying more intensely as tears filled her eyes once more.
Believing the queen had never seen such cruelty before, one of the guards hurried to comfort her. "Your Highness, they deserved to die. We couldn't let them dishonor you like that," he said, his voice gentle, as though speaking to a child. Seeing the queen's beautiful face filled with tears made the guards feel even more emotional.
The other guard stepped forward, his expression serious. "Your Highness, I suggest you move to another room while we clean this up. You shouldn't be here."
But Zhang Lian seemed frozen in place, too shocked to move. She stared blankly at them like her mind elsewhere.
The second guard, concerned, gently touched her shoulder, trying to comfort her away. "Please, Your Highness, you're the queen now. You can't be so kind-hearted. Let us handle this. I'll send Maid Lan to help you."
Zhang Lian seemed to be brought back to reality by the touch and the words. Weakly nodding, she let the guard take her to another room. Her eyes shined with calculation, but her face remained covered with tears as she moved down the hallway.
The cat joked quietly, while flying around her. "Nya, you're quite the actress."
Zhang Lian decided to ignore the comment in order to avoid letting the guards know that her tears were merely an act. She walked on until she came to another room.
Guard opened the door and lit the lanterns, though the room was not as luxurious as her private rooms, this one was certainly comfortable.
Dark wood along the walls and lanterns created a kind, warm glow in the room. The major features were a big bed covered in a white sheets and a low wooden table; the walls were covered in beautiful artworks.
After Zhang Lian entered the room and the guard left by lighting the lantern and closing the door, Zhnag Lian went up to the bed and fell onto it, inhaling deeply. "Everything went according to plan," she whispered to herself.
The cat nodded in agreement. "Indeed. But, Host, what if they hadn't killed them?"
Zhang Lian turned to face the cat and smiled. "I would have then killed them myself, saying you dare to betray me and everyone would think, I did this because I was angry and they will not find too much fault in me."
"Or I could ask someone to poison them while they were in prison and then have that person take responsibility for it by saying that they were unable to bear their betrayal towards a sweet, kind, and beautiful queen."
"What could people even do, if they found out? I am the queen." With a mixture of pleasure and cold calculation in her eyes, her smile grew.
The cat nodded, saying. "Nya, you're always thinking ahead."
The guard went back to the bathroom to clean up and get rid of the bodies in the meantime & Other guard went to inform Chief Gou Liang, who was sleeping in his room, regarding this event.
Gou Liang woke up when the guard knocked hard on the door. As he opened his eyes, Li Hua, his wife, who was sleeping next to him, awoke.
Their simple yet beautiful room is furnished with antique wooden furniture and silky curtains & room is located within the royal palace.
Wearing a loose-fitting dark blue robe tied at the waist, Gou Liang moved out of bed.
"What is it?" Li Hua asked in her soft and sleepy voice, as she pulled herself up on one elbow, her thin silk nightgown slipping off her shoulder slightly.
Gou Liang stood and tightened the belt around his robe, smiling calmly at her. "I'm not certain. In a soft voice, he said, "I'll check." He went towards the door and slowly opened it and he saw, the guard was standing there.
Gou Liang's in a serious tone. "What happened? It's the middle of the night; why are you here?" His alert grew as he looked at the blood on the guard's uniform and realized it's the queen night guard.
