章 4: Progress
Zane now owning the inner world had the ability to alter the earth. He brought up a few more peaks here and there however built a centralized flatland in the middle of them all, here would he place the main grand pavilion. A place where Zane would give out lessons to the soon thousands of members.
Satisfied seeing the peaks surround the flatland he went to Yang peak and terraformed it a bit like Minecraft. Satisfied seeing the work of his own he started the construction.
Being an outer sect disciple of his previous life Zane knew a lot about making buildings.
First of getting large quantities of stone to make paths. Using the Qi like a blade Zane cut through the stone easily before lifting it back. At the Heavenly Dao Sect Zane refined and smoothened the stone out ready to place them down to make paths.
Starting at the bottom of the mountain he continued placing these pristine perfectly sized stone slabs creating a grand stairway. He continued placing until the large flat opening appeared. It was about 5000 meters above sea level. In comparison Mt. Everest is 8,800 meters above sea level...
Slaving away putting the stone slabs down for what felt like ages Zane finally reached the flat opening. However with the Heavens support of Qi he made it easily.
Now for the empty flatland, Zane planned on constructing a large pavilion with steps surrounding the building making it more grand.
Starting with the steps he placed stairs about 8 steps long surrounding the Grand pavillion before returning back to mining. This time Zane was in search of some proper Jade.
With the help of the earth Zane quickly located a large batch of pristine dark green Jade. This would be used as the floor of the grand pavilion.
Grabbing how much he could Zane took it to the surface before quickly but carefully grinding the Jades into a smooth surface.
Returning to the sect he placed the large amount of Jades down, building an awe looking floor. It was practically shining.
"This is good however we need more.." Zane concluded and started drawing the four symbols..
First came the Azure Dragon in the east, then the White Tiger in the west, then the Vermillion bird in the south and finally the Black Tortoise in the north.
Finishing the drawing using his Qi it resembles a dance the symbols in harmony with each other. Simply beautiful.
After this came the pillars and roof. Constructing the red pillars Zane built them with perfection engraving various ancient texts.
"Earth depends on the laws of Heaven, Heaven depends on the laws of Dao, But Dao depends on itself alone, supremely free, self-so, it rests in it's own nature." The text wrote on the first pillar.
On the second Zane wrote..
"Heaven and Earth are eternal for they do not live for themselves."
On the third pillar he continued..
"The Dao that can be told of is not eternal Dao, the name that can be named is not the eternal name. The nameless is the origin of Heaven and Earth."
On the last fourth pillar he wrote..
"A great achievement that seems flawed, great fullness that seems empty, great intelligence that seems foolish..."
Gaining enlightenments about the Dao he kept writing on the pillars. A seemingly holy light emerged from the writings as if saying the heavens and earth acknowledged his thoughts.
Taking a deep breath Zeph finally moved to the roof, placing over 5 roofs on top of each other building a huge pagoda roof.
He decorated the grand pavilion here and there adding gold, diamonds and other rare materials brandishing the mighty pavilion.
Adding statues of the four symbols in every corner it magnified the presence of the pavilion even more.
Finally completing the grand pavilion
It looked way out of place for its surroundings. Almost resembling a great manor for an emperor. The grand pavilion could at most host 10,000 thousand people at the same time and Zane was proud of his work.
"This is good for now, I will let the enhanced humans build their own pagodas or other homes later." Zane muttered finally ready to summon them.
With his imagination a blue daoist robe appeared from thin air and he put it on. He still had short hair which was extremely unfitting but what can he do...
Laying down on the elevated Jade platform in front of the huge Jade platform he sat down in the lotus position before summoning.
"Summon!" Zane said and the enhanced humans randomly appeared out of thin air.
When races get put in inner worlds they are already aware of what had happened in their previous life and were granted a new one being this. Obviously the normal humans won't know that..
The 100 enhanced humans that suddenly appeared sat down in a lotus position previously hailing from cultivation worlds.
"Greetings to you all my sect members, I am the sect master of the Heavenly Dao Sect. The Heavens and Earth have been suppressed by the various other races and defying energies. We are tasked with bringing the glory of the heavens and earth back!" Zane stood up and shouted with sadness in his speech.
"How will we pursue the Dao without the Heavens and Earth? How will we continue to live? To pursue immortality!?" Zane questioned the bewildered enhanced humans.
They stood still watching Zanes speech.
"In the future we will fight making sure the Dao prevails! May the Heavenly Dao Sect rise!" Zane finally said before closing his mouth shut.
"Line up, state your name, former realm to receive the Heavenly Qi gathering method." Zane said.
The Heavenly Qi gathering was personally gifted from the heavens able to cultivate to Ascension..
The enhanced humans agree quickly ready to give their all in the pursuit of immortality.

So to clarify the races each inner world user receive are mostly loyal.

Immediately a fellow Taoist approached Zane first in line.
Cupping his fists and bowing he said.
"Greetings to the Sect Master! I am Li Xuan! a fomer Foundation Establishment cultivator!" The middle aged man said in his taoists robes.
"Disciple Li Xuan I hereby give you the Heaven Qi Gathering manual, do you swear on the heavens to serve the sect dutifully and righteously pursuing the great Dao upon your quest to immortality." Zane sounded holding the book.
"I solemnly swear!" The man responded instantly grabbing the book bowing before leaving to meditate beside the crowd.
"Greetings to the Heavenly Sect Master! This fellow taoist is Guo Xiao! I reached Golden Core in my past reincarnation!" The younger man said cupping his hands and bowing.
"Disciple Guo Xiao do you swear on the heavens to serve the sect dutifully and righteously, pursuing the Dao upon your quest to immortality?" Zane responded once again holding the same book in his hand.
"I-i solemnly swear!" The younger man shouted eventually before grabbing the book and retreating humbly.
A few hours passed like this until eventually every taoist received the manual.
"The heavens are still recovering from those foolish other energies, the highest realm you can reach is the fifth level of Qi Condensation, this is my decree. Meditate diligently reaching the fifth Qi condensation realm before descending down the mountain. Gather materials and build houses down the mountain alongside some roads." Zane sounded before vanishing out of the air.
"Is he really telling the truth? The heavens have stooped so low!?" A worried female taoist said uncertain about the future.
"We have been granted a new life, thank the heavens and serve it to your death." Li Xuan the middle aged man who took the manual first said.
The woman nodded going back to cultivating in the huge grand pavilion.
"This is our chance to prove our worth to the heavens, to pursue immortality we shall face all enemies!" The younger man Guo Xiao said with ambition out loud.
And just like that the 100 enhanced humans started their journey to immortality.
In space Zane looked down with satisfaction, now that they had swore a oath, the heavens had the right to strike down killing them.
Upon leaving the planet he finally saw some animals being born, the birds were singing and some foxes ran around hunting for prey.
"Inner world.. " he murmured.

Satisfied with the initial progress Zane finally stepped out of the inner world after what had felt like 2 months being stuck in there...
Checking the time on his phone he saw it was 02:00 AM.. a good time for cultivating he sat down on the lotus position. However the gains weren't as good as he thought it would be.
Also going over the future problems like arrays, talismans, alchemy, blacksmiths the list just goes on.
"Haa.." Zane said having a lot on his schedule.
