章 3: Results
The awakening continued with several students still not finishing. Zane had already stepped out of his room and entered the lobby were they would reveal everyone's stats later.
In the distance he saw Lu Long extremely happy..
"Zane! Zane! I did it!!" He shouted in happiness speaking in mandarin so no one would hear what comes next.
"Haha" Zane responded seeing his excitement.
"How did it go?" Zane continued curious.
"I got Gamma Energy! And my gift is forcefield manipulation, I can deploy forcefields and move them around in attack or defense it's great!" Lu Long said in mandarin happy about his awakening. After all those sleepless nights shrouded in uncertainty of being a failure, Lu Long felt amazing.
"Nice, but you still are my Junior brother." Zane says with grin on his face shaking his head.
"No....you didn't awaken what I'm thinking right.." Lu Long looked at Zane with a hint of fear and envy.
"That's right, your Senior Brother has a inner world!" Zane pointed to himself proudly bragging to Lu Long.
They were joking around but Lu Long was genuinely glad of Zanes awakening, he worked very hard so it was well deserved. Unlike pudgy Long...
Lu Long patted Zanes shoulder with a smug look before sitting down waiting for the others to finish.
Soon Veronica came and even she had a rare emotion on her face. Pure excitement, she was grinning ear to ear right now.
"Tsk, Veronica don't think you are still better than me." Lu Long declared with pride seeing the villainess face full with satisfaction.
Veronica glared at him as usual before going to Zane.
"Inner world?" Zane asked simply to which she nodded.
"Nice, you should have a good future ahead of you." Zane gave her a thumbs up in response.
"Exactly! I'm strong, not weak!" She declared in her head satisfied with the awakening.
Eventually the excitement faded as more of their classmates finished. Some had devastating looks on their faces while other wore a relieved expression and finally those with exciting expressions.
It was a drastic atmosphere in the waiting room. Eventually however the teachers came to announce the results.
"I know some of you have been devastated by the recent awakening however this isn't the end it's the start! Who knows what treasures or secrets items there are out in the universe capable of completely changing your fate." The principal said in a speech stopping for a moment before continuing.
"And to those who are satisfied with the awakening I wish you luck on your future endeavors as this is the beginning." The principal concluded before nodding to the teacher announcing the results.
"Number 1 student of 4-C Yang Zane! Awakened a inner world.

Congratulations to you Zane, altough you awakend the Qi energy it is fine with its density and race I wish you luck in the future." The headteacher of 4-C said announcing his results.
Zane nodded at him in appreciation before going in a daze..
Meanwhile the others were completely shocked, a person in their class broke the state record? 140km... a monster they thought.
Veronica and Lu Long looked even more shocked staring at Zane.
"Argh... he always beats me!" Veronica thought in anger after being in disbelief.
"I knew you could do it Senior Brother!" Lu Long said in happiness.
Eventually the students started clapping their hands in awe of the broken record, congratulating Zane.
"Thanks everyone." Zane replies a bit weirded out by the rounds of applause..
After the short celebration the teacher continued.
"Ranked second in our class we have Emilia Silver successfully awakening a inner world aswell.

"Congratulations to you Emilia, I wish you Goodluck." The teacher said reading the same format.
"Congrats Emilia." Zane said to her and she nods back.
Zane congratulated the pretty blonde girl before stepping back in thought. She previously ranked top 20 so she should climb up.
"Next ranked third of 4-C we have Veronica Myers awakening a inner world.

Race, Fire spirits
Congratulations to Veronica." The teacher said once again reading the script.
"Ranked fourth, Brent ram.... fifth.. sixth..." the teacher continued going through the 30 students until the last.
The awakenings just got worse and worse as the list went down it was a disaster at the end.
No one received the top ranked Astral Energy and only few awakend higher tier energies. Zane just wanted to escape how fast he could and check out the inner world. But they still had school.
"Now we will be ending this awakening, congratulations and goodluck." The principal said one last time before suddenly disappearing out of nowhere.
"Alright, everyone is dismissed for the day. Go home and tell the news to your families." The teacher concluded leading them out.
The students all with aspirations left the awakening facility different. Angry, disappointed, happy, excited, sad the emotions lingered in the air. A testament to the importance of the awakening.
Zane nodded towards Lu Long and Veronica before leaving. A few students said their goodbyes to him as he left and he responded the same.
Finally leaving the school grounds it was time to plan for the future. With the system Zane is sure to become one of the top geniuses and also being accepted by the heavens is another boost.
"Stats." A murmur escaped his lips as he walked home.

Feeling the newfound strength running through his body he suddenly jumped into the air onto a nearby building before sprinting home jumping rooftop to rooftop.
"This feels eerily similiar to the fourth level of Qi Condensation.." Zane remarked with experiences of his past life.
Honestly Zane was excited, extremely excited to compare the cultivation world with the nowfound energies. Can the Astral Energy compare with the Heavenly geniuses of his past world?
"Haha." Zane laughed a bit thinking about it still running home.
Eventually he reached the apartment complex and jumped up to the 3rd floor in succession.
Finally arriving at his front door he opened it with ease before walking in.
"Mom?" Zane shouted taking of his shoes.
"Yes sweetie? Did everything go well?" She asked curiously with a hint of worry on her face.
"Everything went fine mom I even awakend a inner world." Zane said casually shocking her.
"R-Really!?" She said with a gasp jumping towards him hugging her son dearly.
"I'm so proud of you!" She said once again pecking Zane on the cheek.
"Don't worry mom, I'll get us out of here soon." Zane reminded her taking of the school uniform.
"Mhm.." she responded happily making food in the kitchen not thinking much of it.
"Alright, mom I'll be in my room checking the inner world." Zane said walking to his room however on the way he saw a tiny figure hiding behind the door opposite of Zanes room.
"Jenna no need in hiding from your brother." Zane tells out loud seeing her in the room.
"S-sorry.." Jenna said in response, she's a timid girl only used to her brother
"Your big brother awakened an inner world, we will be rich soon you know." Zane said picking the little girl onto his lap.
"Really??" She said a bit excited hearing the stories about those with inner worlds in school.
"Mhm, be a good girl and focus on school okay?" Zane reminded her before waving her away.
The 12 year old girl left his room shortly after.
"Phew." Zane sighed finally having the time to check his inner world.
"Here we go." He muttered before focusing in his sea of consciousness entering the inner world.
Immediately upon entry he saw the planet in the distance. A perfect small green luscious planet with some ocean too.
There seemed to be only one continent alongside a large island in the middle of the ocean.
There were several mountains and peaks in the planet similiar to the real cultivation world.
Landing on one of the peaks he gazed around the small planet looking around. No animals, or humans it was eerily silent.
"Heaven are you awake? It's time to get some Qi in here you know." Zane said to himself talking to the heavens will.
"I'm already working on it, idiot." She replied and after a few minutes he could sense the Qi in his surroundings. It was everywhere, the air, ground, trees it made the planet even more healthy.
"Nice? So what happens now.." Zane muttered feeling he had forgotten something..
"Ah! The enhanced humans, I remember." He finally said.
"But how do I spawn them... is spawn the right word??.." Zane continued pondering over the situation.
"Check the System, idiot." The same girly voice said with the idiot lastly as always.
"Hmm?" Zane opened the system and noticed a new tab.
