章 77: Rumors

For the next three weeks, Cole did not see a shadow of Conrad in the office. Usually, he comes once or twice a week and annoy the hell out of him.

But his brother stopped showing his face, and it made him miss that annoying sheepish grin. Cole took out his phone and send a text message yesterday.

But Conrad did not reply. 

When he tried to call, he was routed to automatic voicemail. Cole check his messages and saw that Conrad had stopped replying to his messages. He don't see them either. 

"What's going on?" He approached Raven and ask him if he heard from his brother. 

Raven, who was busy texting someone in his phone look up.

"Your brother is not in the country."

"I ask him to uncover some of the Patriarch's shady businesses and he got a lead three weeks ago. He sends me cryptic messages to confirm his safety and whereabouts but that's it. He's not available to send messages."
