Technically, Atlan didn't lie. After all, he did get the sands of time, but he didn't tell Carmine how or where he obtained it. 

"You are full of mysteries, Star Porter. I don't know how you're doing these things, but I guess it's the reason why you were the one chosen for this mission.

I'll interview you thoroughly after this mission, but for now, your priority is to catch that boar and get its heart before the Huntsman kills you."

But despite healing his body enough to stand up, it wasn't enough to completely heal him to what he was before. He'd need to gather more SoulTime and pour it directly into his body. Unfortunately, that would take a couple more minutes. If he waited that long, he was sure that the Huntsman would bury an arrow directly in his heart.

"Kugh!" Atlan forced his body to move faster towards the unsuspecting boar.
