章 119: Ugly Festering Truths

As Ranon grabbed his wrist, Ghala felt a tremor of fear crawling up his spine. Being a panther shifter Ranon had tremendous strength. Besides, he was extremely loyal to Siroos; no matter what order was given, he would fulfil it without questioning his Alpha. 

"Wait! Alpha, let me explain," Ghala begged, the voice quivering.

Siroos gestured for his beta to stop and Ranon dropped his wrist.

"Speak and only speak the truth or you know I can extract it from you." The fear was injected into his veins by Siroos's cold words. 

"You haven't been keeping your promise and spending nights with your mate, considering how drastic the consequences will be. We didn't want your reckless actions to doom the whole pack, so we decided to act," Ghala explained, fearfully watching Siroos's calm facade. Deep inside he was anything but calm.
