The first Golden Core Beetle had already fallen, overwhelmed by the Archangel with Space Affinity. The Archangel had been relentless, teleporting and opening portals to strike from unexpected angles, leaving the beetle unable to keep up.

The second beetle in the Golden Core Realm was defeated shortly after, brought down by the Principality. His overpowered eye techniques exposed every flaw in the beetle's defense, allowing him to land blow after blow. The beetle had no chance of keeping pace.

Meanwhile, Thanatos finished his own fight. Unlike some other species would, he didn't torture his opponent unnecessarily; Angels believed their enemies would be judged in the afterlife. With his empowered intent and Death Energy, Thanatos was able to halt his enemy's healing process, leaving Giorno slowly succumbing to his wounds.
