The members of Wild Wolf were arranged to join the 208th group. During the wait for other teams to assemble, Tang Zelin followed the principle of not wasting talent and utilized Wild Wolf as the opposing team in drills, giving the men of the 208th a few vivid lessons in real combat.
Many people found it extremely satisfying, and even Qu Guo'an, who watched from the sidelines, felt he learned a great deal.
"Old Tang, this bunch is quite impressive," he said.
Tang Zelin replied, "They haven't even shown their full strength yet."
"I think they seem to really respect you when they talk."
Tang Zelin put on his cap, picked up the keys from the table, and, puffing out his chest with no intention of feigning modesty in front of his admiring subordinate, Qu, he said, "They still need more training."
Qu Guo'an thought to himself that it's alright to be a bit narcissistic, but Tang Zelin's level of self-admiration was more than he could stand.
Tang Zelin laughed heartily.
