A certain heiress bit down with a frighteningly crunchy sound onto a dense hunk of nutrient rich bread. It had already been two days - TWO - since she had to soak herself in water *cold* enough to drop her Ogre fueled spike in… 'localized temperatures'. After that morning, she had made very little progress in very many areas.
"If only there was a way to maintain the connection of our fragments over such distances. A technique to bridge the gap between spirits and to feel each other's presence no matter how far apart we are."
The absence of her husband-wife was striking her harder than she wished. But even as she entertained the wistful thought while flailing her legs hanging off her work table, she already knew the dangers. It was not as though she was new to the concept of yearning and separation - or trying to find ways to solve or deal with it.
Oh, what is this?
I *finally* skipped ahead some time again?
I'm actually ready to go further away from that *pair* of days!
WOO~
I mean, I *love* getting into character introspection, clearly, and that isn't likely to stop - but sometimes you just have to start having more events happen and they can't all chain on the same set of days or it feels strange and makes you wonder how many hours are in their days.
I also really want to get back to their fluff amid taking care of their business. And there is a sort of new 'character' coming that I'm trying to find the timing for. Also I should *really* actually make a character image for Navuill.
Oh, and that one person. What was her name again? Right, Sevra.
