章 22: Between Brothers

Ana had turned over and was close to the middle of the bed asleep. Scott kicked off his shoes and climbed up the middle of the bed trying not to think too much about any of this so he wouldn't get too freaked out by it. He lay down next to her and rolled to face her. Nicholas stood awkwardly next to the side of the bed for a moment before finally sitting down beside Ana with his back against the headboard and started running his fingers through her hair.

Scott watched Ana's expression and her face still appeared troubled even with the drugs in her system. He wondered idly what she had been given and how long it lasted when Ana took in a shuddering breath and started coming around. When she opened her eyes, they were once again glassy with tears.

Scott reached a hand out and brushed her cheek causing a tear to fall. "Baby, don't cry there is nothing to cry about."

"I need to leave Scott. I can't do this. Take me to a hotel please." Ana asked pitifully.
