章 37: Chapter 37 Herald VS Akai!
Hanzo Akai was the same kid that stood out in the same batch with Eiji back then in the school assessment!
After that little limelight, Hanzo Akai nearly vanished from existence!
Eiji knew he was still in the school but forgot about him!
He didn't even noticed it when he fights in the tournament!
That was how much he hid his presence!
And this was the specialty of the Hanzo Clan!
In fact, the school life was like a continuous exam for the kids in the Hanzo clan.
They have to make sure they are around and yet not known.
The clan made this like a family rule since they allowed their children in going in the school.
The Hanzo clan specialized in assassinations, so they were trained to be stealthy and fatal when attacking.
Even when like the Zenith clan, their children are outstanding, very few are actually known as their clan is very mysterious and no one dares to snoop around their clan's area.
It could be said that Akai was forced to be revealed because of Herald.
With Herald's imposing aura, any of his opponent would always be in the limelight to the audience.
And so, Akai stood in the arena, opposite him was Herald.
They were like the extreme opposite, Herald stood there with pride and aura along with his white robes, while Akai was there fully restrained in aura, in a dark clothe with a hoodie as well as a black mask that covered the lower part of his face.
Yet both of them stood straight and looked at each other in the eyes.
For Herald, only Akai actually caught his eye in this tournament.
Both clans were always fighting for the strongest clan title in the kingdom.
But it was always the Zenith clan that would always overshadow the Hanzo clan.
Although the Hanzo clan didn't actually care about what the other people were thinking.
In fact, they didn't care who was the first or the last ranked clan in the kingdom.
Because for the Hanzo Clan, unless you are a Sage level swordsman, we can always kill you silently, unknowingly and unscathed!
This was their clan's pride!
For the Zenith clan, they are the most arrogant yet talented swordsmen in the kingdom.
They have the most versatile, lethal and hardest to counter style of swordsmanship!
With their clan's ability to see the future, it would be very hard for anyone to kill a Zenith clan member when they are activating their clan's Blood Sword Power!
This time, it was a tournament fight style, so the assassinations techniques of the Hanzo clan are restrained and limited, he wont be able to win in a fight with Herald head on.
But Akai won't run away from this fight, he wants to see if Herald really is a genius and if the Zenith Clan really deserves to be the strongest clan in the Kingdom!
"Fight!"

After the teacher announced the start, Akai used the Quick Draw technique, as an assassin, this was an essential technique for them to learn.
*Bang!
Akai vanished from his spot and directly slashed at Herald.
Herald blocked it with his wooden katana.
Right now, Herald had already activated his Clan's Blood Sword Power, Future Sight, as one of the strongest clans in the kingdom, Herald can't possibly take this fight easy and lose.
Especially when the Hanzo clan is weak in a confrontational fights, where the Zenith clan was strong.
*Swoosh!
*Baaanngg!
*Swwooshh!!
*Baaanngg!!
Their exchanges continued, Akai was the one who was attacking and although Herald was backing up, it could be seen that Akai was struggling in his every move.
Akai have to predict, feint and use various kinds of attacks just to be able to hit Herald but he hasn't done it even with more than ten exchanges!
While Herald was blocking and parrying he was also counter attacking when he gets the chance!
*Swoosh!!
Herald found a chance to attack but he suddenly hit the air!
Akai suddenly vanished in front of him.
The people that were watching saw Akai was enveloped with darkness from the ground and was swallowed along with it!
In Herald's eyes though, he not only saw Akai vanishing, he also saw him attack from below from his shadows!
*Bang!
And sure enough he was right, Akai attacked him from his shadows, Herald block it, but Akai vanished again.
*Bang!
*Swoosh!
*Bang!
*Swoosh!
The two of them continued this type of fight, but Akai was slowly losing in each exchange.
Akai can only hide in the shadows of Herald, there were no other shadows in the arena, unless he goes to the edges, but he still wont have enough room to maneuver and would just be caged by Herald.
*Bang!
This time, Herald was clearly getting used to Akai's attacks, by knowing what Akai was about to do with his Blood Sword Power, he dodged slightly then countered him with his own slash!
*Baanngg!!
"Arrgh!!"
Akai was hit in the chest and was ejected by Herald's shadows.
Akai was clearly very handicapped in this tournament, but he didn't complain nor talked anything bad, he just stared at Herald after struggling to get up and raised his hand.
"I Surrender!"
Akai raised his hand up and surrendered, he knew he had lost, in fact the moment Herald had blocked his first attack, he knew he lost, but he decided to test things out for his future references!
"Hmmm.... Is that so..."
Herald this didn't say anything arrogant or talked trash, he just looked at Akai and was a bit unsatisfied with the fight.
For Herald, Akai was the only one he felt the most troublesome, although he won now, he knew his advantages in this tournament and how Akai wasn't in his best environment to fight.
Herald walked off the arena like Akai as the teacher announced the Winner.
"Winner Herald Zenith!"
