章 26: Making a magic outfit with Tsubaki!
After getting home, I start getting my dungeon stuff ready, once I was done, I started doing maintenance on my weapons. Prepared to go into the dungeon, I realize somethings missing, I left my old backpack with Tsubaki! Sprinting back to her forge, I run upto the door and open it, there she is inspecting it. "Guh!"
Quickly closing the door and locking it, turning back to Tsubaki I say, "Please don't look, that one has many flaws, it's embarrassing!" "Sara! This is amazing! How'd you do this, it's not a magic item, it just has magic engraved onto it!" "No stop! That one's embarrassing, it was my first try! It doesn't even have the weight reduction on it!"
"You're telling me you made one that also reduces the weight!" "Oops! Guh, not telling!" "Oh come on, pretty please!" "Nunununun Stop! Mother will kill me!" "Come on, tell big sis Tsubaki!" She starts smothering me, "Guh! Fine, but only if you help me make something!"
"Okay! When do you want to start!" "First, I need to go grab the materials needed for the clothes we'll make." "Second, please don't say anything about this to anyone other than Hephaestus!" "Alright! Hurry I want to start working!" "Fine, I'll hurry, but you'll have a lot of work to do!"
Sprinting back home, I grab my things and head to the teleportation circle, arriving on the 27th floor, I play with Fear for an hour then head to the 37th floor. Going into the colosseum, I start fighting, after about 12 hours of fighting, I collect the crystals, Skull Sheep's robes, and Barbarian furs that dropped.
Quickly returning, I run back to Tsubaki, "Tsubaki, I've got the materials and the spare clothes that you can use for reference on the set of clothes you'll be making." "Also! I need you to have a layer of leather inside the hakama, it's where the engraving will go."
"Alright! What are you going to do while I do this?" "I have to get the materials for the fluid catalyst, the monster rex crystal for the engraving, and research a suitable magic circle to engrave." "That seems like a lot." "Who cares! You've gotta my creative juices flowing! Let's get to work!" "Yeah!"
Running out of Tsubaki's forge, I head to the guild, as I arrive I see rose, Ais, and who seems to be a member of Ais's Familia. "Hi Rose, Hello Little Ais, how are you!"
Rose:"Sara, hello, I'm fine thanks."
Ais:"Hello"
Sara:"Little Ais, can't you say more, you're hurting big sisters feelings?"
Ais:"I'm sorry."
Sara:" Ohhhh! No one could stay mad at you!"
Riveria:"Hello, who are you?"
Sara:"Oh! Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself! I'm Sara Hunter, or Toxotai, if you prefer aliases."
Riveria:"Nice to meet you, I'm Riveria, or Nine Hell."
Sara:"Yes, it is nice to meet you, I've heard about you, you have 9 magics, maybe we can talk magic sometime, but for now, I have to go kill a monster rex."
Rose:"Sara, what crazy things are you up to this time!"
Sara:"Oh come on! I'm just making something with Tsubaki."
Rose:"I know you, and you're probably going to make something even more crazy then what you already have."
Sara:"Shhhh! Rose! Not in front of other people, it's supposed to be a secret!"
Rose:"Right... And who knows this secret?"
Sara:"You and Tsubaki. Oh! And mother, of course."
Riveria:"What did you make?
Sara:"A magic ba-Oops! Bad Riveria! You almost got me!"
Riveria:"It was worth a try."
Rose:"Sara's an idiot, just a few words and you had her talking."
Sara:"That's not fair rose! You know what I'm like!"
Rose:"Yes... Yes I do..."
Sara:"Guh!"
Sara:"Listen, I really have to go, I'll see you later Little Ais, Rose, and it was nice meeting you Riveria."
Ais:"Goodbye"
Rose:"Like I have a choice..."
Riveria:"Yes, likewise, and I may take you up on your offer."
Sara:"Huh? Oh right magic! Yes, if we have the time."
Quickly running to the exchange windows, I start pouring crystals out of my backpack, once the tray is full, I stop and wait for them to exchange them. With valis in backpack, I start buying the materials needed for the fluid catalyst, once done, I bring them home.
Putting things away, I go down into the dungeon and sleep on my bed, once I wake up, I have to wiggle my self out of Fears grip. Now that I'm out, I head to Amphisbaena, putting my bow sideways, I draw back 2 mana arrows, aiming it so both arrows will hit each of Amphisbaena's heads, compressing 3,000 mana into each arrow, I release them.
The left arrow hits it's right head and the right arrow hits it's left head, once they hit, they explode, getting rid of Amphisbaena. Grabbing the crystal, I head down, killing 10 Bloodsaurus, I collect their crystals. Going back to the Xenos place, I start doing research, after 2 days I finished the magic circle.
This one has 3 main properties, Auto Repair, a minor healing spell activated by Imbueing mana into it, and an Anti-Magic Barrier. The Anti-Magic Barrier is unique, instead of trying to block or absorb the magic, it swats the magic to the side.
Basically, you'll have a tornado constantly spinning around you, that only effects magic aimed at you. I'll be able to engrave the magic circle into the clothes, thanks to the Amphisbaena's crystal. Teleporting back home, I have mother update my status.

Going into my room, I start making the fluid catalyst, this time I use more materials and blood then normal. Putting everything into my backpack, I head to Tsubaki's forge, as I arrive she's still working, I go and sit in a corner to meditate.
"Oh! Sara, your here, you could have said something." "No, I don't like interrupting people." "Well that's fine, everything's ready." "Awesome! Ready to see what a Blacksmith and a Mage can make, when working together?" "Yeah!"
Getting everything needed out of my backpack, I start writing the magic circle, below me, a magic circle appears and my whole body is glowing a bright sky blue. As I finish the circle, I've used a lot of mana and and the glow disappears, drinking a magic potion, I meditate for 30 minutes.
The magic potion with Mana Recovery and Meditation, made it possible to get full mana in a short time. Standing up, I reach my left hand towards my backpack, and use mana to bring the Amphisbaena's crystal out and over, I begin the engraving chant.
Once it was done, I feel drained, using so much mana repeatedly, makes me mentally tired. "Tsubaki, it's finished. Do you want to try our creation?" "You know it won't fit right, right?" "Yes" "Okay fine." She changes into it. "Okay, wow, now I'm just jealous..."
"It's your fault Sara." "Yeah and?" "Can we just test this already." "Sure. Okay, first let's try the first function." "And that is?" "Auto Repair, just cut the clothes somewhere and see if it works." "Okay." "After cutting a part of the clothes it slowly started to repair, after a minute, it was done.
"Okay, that works, let's test the next part." "What would that be?" "It's... Hey, how good are you at using your mind?" "If I'm not using my magic or Imbueing an effect on an item, I don't think I can..." "Okay... I'll have to do the next part, umm... I'm going to need to cut you."
"Excuse me?" "No... it... It's a minor healing spell that activates by Imbueing mind into the clothes." "I'll Imbue the mind needed, you just need a wound to heal." "Fine, hand me that knife." Walking over to a bench, I grab a knife and give it to her. She cuts her finger and I start Imbueing mana into the clothes, the cut healed in less than 10 seconds.
"Wow, I wonder how fast a bigger injury would heal?" "Okay let's not do that!" "Fine, let's do the final test." "Why do I feel like a guinea pig?" "I don't know what you're talking about?" Holding up my right hand, I make a fireball. "Don't you dare, I will hurt you if you use that."
"Fine then, we'll bring it to Hephaestus, she can appraise it. If it has the effects I Imbued, then you're going to be my hug pillow tonight." "That's just a reward for me." We leave Tsubaki's forge and head to Hephaestus's workshop.
After we have Hephaestus appraise the clothes, we're happy that it was a success, I was... Tsubaki was still in shock over the final function of the clothes. "Tsubaki, it's late and I'm getting tired, lead me to your house." " Oh right, I almost forgot! Yeah let's go, come on!"
That night, I slept in pillow Onee-san world. After waking up, I was being strangled by Tsubaki, struggling, I pull my head out from her vice grip. Going to her kitchen, I make us food, once it was done I bring it to her room, after a bit of effort to wake her up, we eat together.
"You know, you are going to make 1 hell of a wife someday." "You do know I'm in the Artemis Familia, right? I'll be keeping my chastity." "Oh... Right, I forgot." "Hey, we should make something together again, next time it'll be for you." "That sounds nice, what did you have in mind."
"I don't know, we could do a katana, or maybe a hammer for forging." "Think about it, we have a long time after all." "You know being an Adventurer, means you will constantly have to face death." "You don't know my motto, I refuse to die to anything but old age."
"Hahahaha yeah, I like that." "So Tsubaki, I wanted to ask if you would be my exclusive blacksmith, I'm not exactly famous, but I wanted to ask, just in case." "Yeah that's fine, plus we'll be working together on future projects." "Great! I'll be in your care then!"
