章 213: I’m Going To Take It

After the close of work, Hunter drove home to pick Delilah for their dinner date at his house.

Hunter chuckled as he thought about Damon's phone call to him and all that Damon had said about his meeting with Delilah.

If he had any doubt that Delilah was crazy, she had cleared it completely, Hunter thought with a chuckle, wondering how or why she would even think about leading Damon on.

He wondered what she was going to think when she found out that Damon was interested in Jessica. He wished he could tell her that Jessica was working for Damon and living in his place, but he couldn't.

Doing that would go against his promise to Jessica and Delilah would get to know that Jessica knew about his true identity and kept it from her.

He knew that was a betrayal she might not take too easily since it was one thing for him to deceive her, and another for her own sister to keep the truth from her.
