章 142: Caring Wife

As Hunter drove to the Villa after the close of work, his thoughts drifted to all that had happened earlier in the day- from Delilah's visit to meeting Jessica at Damon's place and finding out Jessica was the one Damon was interested in.

He chuckled as he recalled Damon's dramatic reaction earlier, and a soft sigh escaped from his lips when he thought about what Alex and Sabrina had said about Delilah looking out for him.

He hadn't expected to make so much progress with her so soon. It seemed like everything was moving too fast, and when things happen this fast, it makes him want to slow down or perhaps pause and reanalyze things, so he knows the best way forward.

He was jolted out of his thoughts when his phone rang, and he smiled when he glanced at his phone and saw it was Delilah.

He connected the call to his AirPod and received the call, "Hey, baby!" He greeted her sweetly and smiled, knowing that she was going to roll her eyes.
