A year later...

Felix sat in his cozy Los Angeles apartment, sipping coffee as he gazed out at the city skyline. His move to the US had been a whirlwind experience so far. He was excited to start his Master's program in Communications at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). His school had offered to sponsor his masters but he didn't, and decided someone else who couldn't afford it could get the privilege. Not everyone in school was rich and lucky to have a father like him. It'd taken him a while to finally decide on what to choose though since he wasn't as passionate about writing stories as before. Studying Communications would help him, especially since his dad offered to let him work for him, noting that they'd need someone like him.

"Hey, Felix! How's LA treating you?" his friend Jon asked over the phone.
