章 7: magic and swordsmanship training
Although it looks like he is always free and all he does at home is waving the sword, Paul is in charge of managing the village as a swordsman
Thanks to that, he can afford a tutor for me to learn magic .
But after all, it is a rural area at the edge of the country and chances of finding teachers to teach me magic is very low but I knew that soon a tutor will be knocking at our door .
And guess what she is currently standing right in front of me .
My parents kept telling me that it was going to be a retired adventurer or magician who has dedicated his whole life learning about magic, probably a middle-aged guy or an old man .But since I knew about her from before, I was not too worried about it .
"I am Roxy Migurdia . Nice to meet you, " Roxy said .
She just looks like a middle school student. If I am right, she is about 30 to 40 years old. Is this perhaps what people call a legal loli .
" You are ,umm .... the tutor? " Paul asked
"You are rather, um..." Zenith was saying something while I intervened
"So small." it was my genuine reaction she looked really small in reality, just like any other middle schoolers .
" I don't want to hear that from you,"Roxy retorted while narrowing her eyes at me.
" So where is the student I will be teaching?" Roxy asked .
"Oh, that would be this kid." Zenith said while I just winked at her .
"Yeah, sometime this happens crazy parents who believe their children are blessed just because they grow a bit faster. I guess it's not yhe rightone this time." Roxy started mumbling, which all of us heard loud and clear .
"Yes?" Zenith asked with an irritated smile
"Nothing! But I don't believe your child can understand magic theory.."Roxy said hesitantly, not thinking a child like me could learn magic .
"Don't worry, our rudy is really amazing, you know."Zenith said proudly
" Sigh, I get it. I will do what I can ." Roxy said, finally giving up on arguing further.
So I began to go backyard along with Roxy to start the first lesson.

" Magic can be broadly divided into three types . They're attack magic , heal magic, and finally summon magic . They are classified further in seven stages beginner , intermediate, advanced, Saint,king , emperor, and God ." Roxy started the lecture by going through basic.
"And mana is needed for using these magic.
A mana or also known as the magic power of every person is same since their birth. "
"In any case, I will chant as an example, so please follow me." Roxy said, picking up her staff and starting to chant the spell.
She casually condensed a water ball and hit the small tree in there .
"How's that?" She asked me .
"Sensei, my mom spent a lot of time growing that tree, so I think she will be mad ." I said, causing Roxy to panic instantly .
"Eh ... this is bad. I will fix it right away . "She ran towards the tree while chanting the spell and putting the tree at the place using healing and putting the tree at the same state as before.
"So you can use heal magic too." I said
"Yes, up to intermediate level. "She said
"it's amazing." I praised her while clapping
"No, with enough training, anyone would be able to do it."she said .
She is surprisingly the same as shown in anime and the novels . And cute as well .
After that, she told me to do the same spell, which I did .
"You are surprisingly good at this. Have you learned it before?"She asked me .
"Yes, but I usually do it without any inchant ."I said casually, which surprised her as it was not something possible .
"Can you show it to me ?" She asked me to which I agreed.
After knowing this, she was really happy if she was reluctant to teach me before she was no longer now as who would not want to train a genius such as me .
After this small episode, Roxy is staying in our house until my training finishes . And I am waiting till my sword training starts.

I am standing in our backyard again as it is time for my sword training. Paul has told me to do some physical exercises first before going to start our training, so I am doing just that .
There are three sword styles that people of this world learn that is Sword God , Water God, and North God .
Sword God style mainly focuses on speed. The people practicing this style rely on speed and attacking first as according to them, offense is the best kind of defense, whatever it means.
Water God mainly focuses on defense. People practicing this style mainly focus on defending they never make the first move while fighting an opponent.
Finally, the North God style, which does not have any definite style as in different dojos where they teach it people can teach it differently. But the main thing of this style is to take as much benefit of the surroundings as possible . They even teach different fighting techniques like hand to hand combat and duel welding of weapons.
Just like magic, they are classified in seven stages beginner , intermediate, advanced, Saint,king , emperor, and God .
Even magicians learn one of the sword styles at least up to the beginner stage for self-defense.
After finishing some exercises, I was really exhausted, but Paul still taught me some basics of swordsmanship before letting me go for the day .
"Sigh."
The days ahead are hectic, and I have to be as powerful as I can before going to the Demon continent, so I should train my body a bit properly for now .
