Putting an end to the phone call, Aera subtly turned around to face Ji-Hoon who was patiently waiting for her to wrap up her business.
As she turned around at him, a warm smile flushed on his face as he understood what her feasible reaction meant.
"Ji-Hoon–"
Aera tried to say, but he cut her words short, his smile widening.
"It's okay. I will take care of things here, so don't worry about it."
Aera gave him a little nod, her mind going to rest about the matter concerning the press conference. She took a turn at the door and headed straight out of the resting room.
"To the hospital." She said to the driver as he maneuvered into the busy streets of Seoul.
[AT THE HOSPITAL]
"What did you say, doctor?" Aera inquired for a repeat of words weakly, her voice trembling and filled with frailty.
Placing both hands on the table before him, the doctor leaned forward, ready to give Aera the full analysis of what he had just said to her.
