Chris had a board meeting to attend, where he would present the supposed "losses" the company might face due to the leak of their Nano drone project. Only the three of them knew that this was all part of a larger ruse, and Chris had to play his part convincingly. Amaya had joined Chris leaving Vesna alone.

The moment Vesna was left alone, the smile on her face disappeared and was replaced with a blank expression. She stared at the door the two had walked away with a cold gaze. Her gaze then flickered to the crystal paperweight. The light filtering through the office windows caught its facets, casting small rainbows across the polished wood surface.
