Evan sighed irritably, running a hand through his hair in frustration. "What! You can't even hold him off?" he exclaimed, shaking his head in disappointment. His eyes flicked to Leo, who looked exhausted and stressed. Evan took a deep breath, trying to regain his composure. "Alright," he continued, "take Alina and follow the secret passage out. Drop her somewhere safe where people can find her quickly."
Leo hurried to Alina's side, carefully lifting her limp body into his arms. Her head lolled to the side, unconscious and unaware of the chaos unfolding around her. Evan reached into his pocket and pulled out a small device that resembled a remote control. He pressed a button, and with a soft mechanical whir, a section of the floor slid open, revealing a dark, narrow passage beneath.
Leo hesitated at the edge, glancing back at Evan for reassurance. "Wait, Leo," Evan called after him, his voice firm. "Remember, don't let anyone see you."
