章 40: Future

Rise, let the wind brush and touch his skin; it was a rare calm. Although, it was debatable since he always looked easygoing most of the time. 

His mind sorted out his plans once more. Rise was not one to plan all over again, but he was gearing in that direction more and more. It had only been four days since his return, but Rise became more active than ever. 

Rise couldn't afford any failure this time.

While relaxing on the rooftop, he thought of something and took out a small ring from his pocket. It was precisely the ring that Kamille gave to them. 

At first, he had not reacted to it, but as he looked at it more, some bits of memories flashed in his mind. He suddenly remembered something. It was likely related to this ring. 

His eyes lingered on the ring for a moment. In terms of design, it did not look remarkable at all. It was a plain gray ring; it looked too small, but if one wore it, the ring seemed to expand and accommodate the finger.
