Demon Eye of Annihilation
It was time to leave the room. Liu Zheng estimated that the sun had risen, signaling the imminent attack from the demons. He aimed his hand and shot a cero, obliterating the ceiling and evaporating the water that threatened to flood in. With a swift motion, he flew out of the pond.
A commotion erupted immediately. More than a dozen high-ranking Immortal Ascension cultivators gathered, trying to subdue the intruder. But Liu Zheng, still in his Bankai state, hypnotized them all with a single gaze, erasing their memories of his face in mere minutes. Then, he departed.
Deactivating his Bankai, Liu Zheng pondered his next move. Should he follow Sister Xia's Qi signature and meet her? It felt too early for that. Instead, he decided to head down the valley to the city. With the sun just risen and no demon Qi signatures in sight, it seemed like there was still some time in the attack by the demons.
Upon reaching the city, Liu Zheng booked a room at an inn for half a day. Inside, he asked Old Man Zangetsu to set up a sound-blocking array, which he did within minutes. Liu Zheng then opened the black book. This book, now with a storage function, still had one page left to unlock—the seventh page, which contained the Demon Eye of Annihilation.
Aware of the impending battle that would involve dozens of Immortal Ascension realm cultivators, Liu Zheng knew the souls of the fallen would be valuable for his cultivation. He decided to take the risk and opened the seventh page and started channeling his spiritual energy into it.
The page was like a black hole, greedily absorbing spiritual energy with seemingly no signs of stopping. Liu Zheng used his Quincy ability to draw in more spiritual energy from his surroundings and pour all of it inside the book. After an hour, an array appeared.
Liu Zheng sighed in relief, but he should have waited longer as the array started to suck in his soul.
"Damn it, what the hell is happening?"
"Why do you have to do such reckless things all the time, King?" Zangetsu's voice echoed from his knowledge sea, and he intervened to stop Liu Zheng's soul from being sucked in which worked in an instant.
After that the closed Demon Eye appeared.
'It is pretty weird looking now that i see it in real life but oh well, what does it matter as long as it is useful and it seems to have already established a faint connection with my soul when I poured in all of the spiritual energy just now' he thought to himself.
He reached out to touch the eye, but as soon as his finger made contact, it went inside his head. His left eye automatically activated the Sharingan, and a sharp, pain shot through it.
The pain kept increasing and increasing making him feel like his eye was being stabbed with a hundred of needles and blood started to streamed down his face.
Panicking, he immediately went inside his knowledge sea to check why this was happening and what he saw shocked him.
What he saw shocked him—the Demon Eye of Annihilation was battling against his left Sharingan for dominance.
"Liu Zheng, where did you get this eye?! The way it is fighting against the spiritual form of your sharingan it won't stop until it completely destroys the eye and if that happens you will lose all your abilities from that eye , including the void eye. So take it out, this instant!" Old Man Zangetsu warned.
"But I can't! It's totally out of my control!" Liu Zheng shouted back.
"WHAT?!" Both Zangetsu and the old man were stunned.
As they were discussing a solution, the demon eye began to glow and as soon as Liu Zheng saw this he felt goosebumps all over his body remembering what follows next.
"ZANGETSU! THROW IT OUT FORCEFULLY IF YOU CAN, WE CAN'T LET IT STAY HERE FOR ONE MORE SECOND!"
"I CAN HEAR YOU ALREADY! NO NEED TO SHOUT, I KNOW WHAT TO DO!" Zangetsu yelled back, rushing towards the eye.
But it was already too late as the demon eye started to glow which made Liu Zheng felt goosebumps all over his body as he remembered what follows next.
The eye started shooting rays in multiple directions, amplifying Liu Zheng's pain. Zangetsu and the old man were not spared either as they were also affected by the soul-destroying rays.
"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU BRING HERE, KING? DO YOU WANT TO KILL US?" Zangetsu, despite being furious at Liu Zheng for bringing such a cursed object inside his knowledge sea , knew that expelling the eye was the only option.
Dodging the rays as best he could, he reached the soul-warming lotus where the glowing Demon Eye was.
As he tried to grab the eye, his hands began to burn and fall apart, which made him retract it immediately but he didn't back down. On his second attempt, he used his other hand and pushed his way towards the eye regardless of the damage and successfully managed to grab the eye.
Zangetsu was about to expel it from the knowledge sea when he got an idea. Instead of throwing it out, he tried to absorb it. The experiment was a success but the process was slow and painful, and he would fall apart completely by the time he completely absorbs it.
So he pushed it right into his left eye which dramatically increased the pain but the process became extremely faster.
He persevered, finally absorbing the Demon Eye into his own eye. Zangetsu's left eye which previously had black sclera with a yellow iris now had a white sclera with the golden Demon Eye.
Looking at his reflection, Zangetsu smirked. "I'll be forgiving you this time, king. Because it looks dope on me and I can already feel that it's really powerful. I am going out to test it."
Liu Zheng sighed in relief as Zangetsu left. "You should be more careful while exploring powerful ocular techniques in the future," the old man advised. "They might not be compatible with your Sharingan. If we hadn't resolved this in time, it could have done irreparable damage to your soul and we would not be able to go inside your knowledge sea again until it was fixed."
"It was that big of a problem?!" Liu Zheng thought things would go smoothly as it did with Yang Kai in the original but now he would be much more careful when absorbing the Black Eye of Purgatory.
"That would have been the case if you didn't have the soul warming lotus but with its healing ability even the damage it could have potentially caused would have been healed completely in a year or two though your plans regarding Yang Bai would have gone to waste so be careful even if you know a lot about this world. Knowing what cultivation is and practicing is worlds apart." Old man replied.
Liu Zheng realized he needed to be cautious, even with his knowledge of this world. "I'll be more careful. Thanks, Old Man."
His consciousness returned outside and he called Zangetsu back.
Zangetsu returned, sharing his experience. "My vision's several times better, and I can see through many things, including protective formations of the strongholds of many forces in the city."
"And I saw a few people with demonic energy moving towards where you were last night," Zangetsu added.
"What?! Why didn't you tell me earlier? Get inside now!" Liu Zheng leapt out the window and flew towards Medicine King Valley. Demonic cultivators were attacking the people who had come here to participate in some type of competition which he saw from the memories of the guards from different parts of the Han Dynasty.
"Are you both ready?" Liu Zheng asked.
"We're always ready," came the reply from his knowledge sea.
"Hehe, I love doing this every time."
"BAN........ KAI!" All the nearby world energy was sucked in instantaneously , making the area feel desolate.
"Tensa Zangetsu." The transformation completed, and it will continue to become more and more subtle as his mastery over the Bankai increases.
What's new this time was that Liu Zheng's left eye now housed the Demon eye as he was fused with zangetsu.
He formed a Quincy bow and targeted 20 demons, ranging from the Immortal Ascension realm to the True Foundation realm. Upon release the arrow split into 20, killing all the demons in one shot. The Demon Eye absorbed all the remnant souls of the fallen immortal ascension realm in one go including those who died before he arrived.
"Thank you, Senior, for saving our lives. We will be eternally grateful to you." people below thanked him. Being called Senior felt very odd to him, but it was somewhat understandable given his strength.
After dealing with the demons, Liu Zheng activated his Sharingan, where his left eye transformed into a golden Mangekyou Sharingan, enhancing efficiency and strength of all the functions they have in common.
He used it to see through all the obstacles in his path to locate Sister Xia's energy signature. It took a minute but he was able to confirm her location and found several other energy signatures which were all humans and mostly had fire qi mixed in them indicating their alchemy background along with Meng Wu Ya.
Satisfied that she was safe, Liu Zheng spent a few minutes clearing out the remaining demons, collecting over three dozen souls.
He kept an eye on situation around Sister Xia the whole time, and this time he saw few people with demonic energy signature attacking Meng Wu Ya and it was about time to reunite with them after a long time.

Liu Zhengs's Bankai - Tensa Zangetsu
-usually a bankai increases a zanpakuto's qi and spiritual energy by 4-5x(here 5x) but does not effect the user so it is basically someone with a much stronger weapon capable of high level spiritual damage as well.
- Man and Zanpakuto Unification - Liu Zheng totally trusted and accepted his zanpakutos without any reservations thus fusing with them and making its powers fuse with him as well.
- So Liu Zheng's Bankai will give his body 5x defence and offensive power improvement through Blut Techniques which can now be used simultaneously.(basically 5x stronger body)
-5x energy reserve increase.
-5x increase in spiritual power.

I feel like changing the original five elements of MP from Fire, Water, Earth, Metal, Wood to Fire, Water, Earth, Wind and Wood.
Replacing metal with wind because I don't really understand the role of metal here. So what do you guys think about it?
