章 11: Cultivation Techniques
The ice continued to spread around the entrance and a white and blue figure came out of it.
"Si... Si.... Senior Sister Su!" the guy said in a trembling losing all of escaping.
She looked around and saw a heavily injured person standing and 4 others on the ground.
"I have seen this person before... Liu Zheng, was it" She thought and went towards him. She couldn't understand how i fought 6 people who were a major realm higher than me, defeated 4 of them and still standing but she choose not to think too much of it now.
She supported me by taking my hand around her shoulder and putting her hand around my waist helping me walk.
"Who was involved?" she asked
The guy behind her said while trembling "E- Everyone."
"Good." she said as she continued to go deeper into the jail.
They sighed and felt relieved that they were relived when suddenly one of the noticed the chest of other guy freezing.
"Brother, what's on your chest?"
"Hmm?" was the last thing they said before coughing up a lot of blood and freezing all over.
I somewhat sensed that something happened there and i asked "You did something to them?"
"Mhm. Are you alright?"
"I'm fine. Please bring Li Yuntian and the rest out as well." i replied
"What about Su Mu?"
"He wasn't imprisoned. They should have sent him back. Those people wouldn't dare touch him"
She hummed in response.
We got Su Mu's followers out of the cell and took them with us, though they were confused as to why Su Yan was with me but didn't ask much about it.
We got out of the forest jail only to see a crowd of people waiting for us outside.
"What a group! they are here to target you , aren't they, sister Su?" i said to which she stayed silent and said to the man standing infront of us "Move!"
The guy was named Jia Hongchen who was rank 2 among the core disciples, a pest who killed too late in the original and had created trouble at every step whenever he got the chance so i was going to eliminate him early this time.
"Sister, please you don't have to trouble yourself with me. I am only fulfilling my duties." he said to which Su Yan sternly repeated her words and told him to MOVE.
"Sister i can't allow these people have broken the sect rules, until the elders have decided on a verdict i can't let them go." He said trying to look like he had no choice.
(This conversation went exactly the way it did in canon and i am too tired too write it all so please refer to Chapter 56 to 58 until Jia Hongchen had to forcefully release us due to the orders
The whole purpose of this arc was to melt the ice between Su Yan and Liu Zheng a bit more which did happen in some way.
It is too time taking to write everything and i wish to finish this fic within a 1000 chapters too not in 3 to 4k chapters like manhua or even more like the novel so i ask for your understanding.)
A day and a half later,
I woke up covered in bandaged not knowing where i was. I looked around me to check where i was but didn't have to as Su Mu came through the door.
"Brother Liu, how are you?" he saw me and hurriedly came to assist me.
"Ah! Let me help you brother Liu. How do you feel now?"
"It's nothing serious i just need a few days of rest and i will be as good as new" i replied
"You have saved me yet again Senior brother. These are some pills for your cultivation and recovery from my father. Please, do accept them" he took out many bottles of pills and put them on the table
i asked him to thank the second elder on my behalf and accepted the pills.
"Where's sister Su Yan?"
He looked hesitant for a second and that started blabbering that there are plenty of fish in the pond so i should keep an open mind which i ignored.
He told me that she had already left for the black wind market the same day she brought me here.
I was disappointed to here that but didn't mind much because i would have plenty of chances later on.
Soon after they left and since i had nothing to do i went back to sleep again.

I almost fell asleep but then i was pulled into my mind space. I looked around to see only Old man with zangetsu no where to be seen which i found confusing.
"I have asked zangetsu to not disturb us for a while as i have some important things to discuss with you Liu Zheng" he said in his usual deep voice.
"What did you want to discuss old man that you had to sent zangetsu away?" i asked scratching the back of my head.
He went straight to the point and said
"Liu Zheng, you already know that you couldn't learn any shinigami exclusive techniques because they are learnt not genetically included like some of hollow techniques but you do know that quincy techniques also have to be learnt by oneself and not present since birth still i could teach you them, have you ever wondered about the reason why?"
This is not the original bleach verse so i was not sure of the back story but never really doubted him so i said "I did find it questionable but i knew that you meant no harm so i thought that you either just knew those from the beginning somehow or had a reason you were not ready to tell me so i will just give you time and you could tell me whenever you were able to. Either way you have helped me a ton so it was not really a problem. "
He looked at me for then he said "I indeed had a reason that i did not tell you about everything from the start and kept it to me but when you awakened two zanpakutos instead of one and showed your unwavering faith and trust in me, i wanted to tell you at that time but a part of me somehow stopped me but watching your growth i realised that even in this backward small pocket world you were going to reach true element realm in a matter of months.
The Soul race being a special kind of race awaken their knowledge sea and divine sense at True element realm not the immortal ascension realm and that is when your bankai training would start. To achieve bankai one needs to materialise their zanpakuto spirit in the real word and subjugate them to gain their full acknowledgement.
This process helps not only the host but as well as the zanpakuto spirit tremendously grow in power and learn bankai. But even after this if the two don't trust each other fully bankai would be impossible."
I nodded understanding what he was saying and he continued
"But since i am keeping things from you, i am in a way would be hindering your growth too. I continued to listen to him and he told me about how he is not only just the representation of my quincy powers which took the form of a spirit due to my other bloodlines but also a part of the Quincy progenitor. The first quincy to ever be born in the soul race whose name was Yhwach ( pronounced Yūhabahha).
He was born n a noble shinigami family but shunned and discriminated against by shinigamis due to his weird powers and not possessing a zanpakuto and treated as an outsider. He was constantly bullied and a lot of times beaten up in his childhood by not only the kids his age but also adults too. In the end he was banished from the Shinigami sect all together but due to his origins he was hunted down by the hollows for a long time too.
This made him built up a lot of resentment towards the two but in the end he managed to get away from both and properly develop his powers. He grew up to be one of the most powerful individual in the outer verse and found his own sect but the other two races started to become afraid of his sect's growing power and in the end he was killed by the them. He had nothing but hatred towards the other two races even until his last breath.
Even though i have inherited only a fraction of total life experiences which spanned over thousands of years and couldn't be contained in the spirit which was born along side a mortal child inside him which is you, the hatred was still passed on even though I was part quincy too but my faith and trust in him has washed it away completely.
Yhwach was a cultivator who had master the dao of sword, dao of time and dao of spirit arrays but since i have only received a fraction of his memories i can teach you only a little about these things but one thing that yhwach had practised his whole life and is passed onto me as well is the Body cultivation art he used. It was with him since his early adulthood when he found it until his death so in a way it had become an integral part of him and was able to be passed on.

I was relieved that i could turn it off or it would have been a big problem.
Old man then told me that it was a very resource consuming art because whenever i break through i would need a new set of yin-yang + 5 elements resource though i don't need to worry about yin and yang as i had zangetsu or if wanted i could use a higher grade resource to avoid doing it at every step.
Eg- i could be a saint king and use origin or origin king grade yin-yang and 5 elements treasures but then zangetsu wouldn't be able to help out.
I liked the second one better because i could use [Map] to find everything i need.
I jokingly asked zangetsu that i hoped you were hiding something too so that i could get a few secret arts from you too, but he replied that he is my strength already so i should already be grateful or he could just beat the shit out of me to make me understand which lead to fight in which i won and he just said to take it outside and then he will show his real power and i just shrugged it off.
I thanked old man for opening up to me and then went to sleep cuz i was too tired now.
