章 76: Cheating on Her

Trevor and Ethan helped Claire get into the car and made sure she was comfy. Claire's dizziness started to get better as they drove home, but she still felt weak and lost.

As Ethan drove, he kept quiet and his hands were white on the driving wheel. Trevor kept a close eye on Claire.

Ethan helped Claire get inside and point her to the couch when they got home. She was so tired that she just laid down while Trevor called the family doctor to make sure she wasn't poisoned.

Upon a careful examination, the doctor found that Claire had been drugged, but the amount given was likely small and only meant to make her unconscious rather than hurt her permanently. He told them to rest and drink a lot of water.

Trevor and Ethan looked at each other worriedly while Claire rested. "We need to find out who did this," Ethan yelled in a rough voice.

Trevor gave a firm nod, his face set in purpose. "I have my theories. We'll deal with this in due course."
