"I am concerned about your safety. If anything dares happen to you, you know who would be blamed for all of that, right?" He added, tapping his foot on the floor out of nervousness.

"Oh! That was the same reason you saved me last night? So won't you be blamed later? I knew you weren't the type that would just want to take a bullet for me." She said it with a little bit of laughter. He didn't have anything to say or use to defend himself anymore.

He knew that was not the reason. "You look ridiculous! You should go and check yourself in the mirror." Claire stood up in anger after receiving a reply from him, concluding that he saved her because he didn't know what to blame.

Joshua ruffled his hair as he stood up and walked into the room. He looked in the mirror, and he really looked like something else. His hair was scattered, and he had his eyes bagged together with a darkened eye. His skin was so pale, too.
