While taking a big bite of a delicious chicken wing, Seraphina spoke with a relaxed expression "I told you guys! this is a kind little village. The item probably just happened to be buried here, unrelated to the villagers."

Ragnar, however, exchanged a meaningful glance with Lucius, and they conversed in hushed tones. "Did you notice?" Ragnar asked.

Lucius nodded, his expression grave, before subtly signaling an end to the conversation. Seraphina, growing increasingly bewildered, wondered what her companions had observed that she had missed.

Throughout the day, they continued to explore the village, indulging in local delicacies, asking about traditions, and interacting with the friendly residents. As night fell, they retired to the village inn, each taking a separate room.
