But that didn't ease the tension between them, as Jack was still furious and was fuming in anger as Nathan tried to calm him down.

As soon as the two entered, Nathan immediately asked, "Are you okay, Ethan?"

"Yeah, I'm fine now... Thanks for asking," He replied, rubbing his neck where Lucifer's fingers dug into his skin earlier. It was still painful to touch it, but he had already recovered from the shock of being choked like that, so it wasn't that bad anymore.
