Lucifer laughed out loud hearing Eva's threat, not taking it seriously in the slightest. "Haha, I would like to see you try! Just remember that I'll retaliate harder in response, my dear cousin."

Eva let out a gasp of outrage, knowing full well how devious Lucifer's little games could be sometimes, and she didn't want to risk suffering the consequences if she decided to go through with her threat.

So with an exaggerated groan, she exclaimed in defeat, "Alright! You win this time! I missed you dearly, my favorite cousin in the whole wide world! Are you happy now?!"

"Of course. Good girl," Lucifer nodded as he placed her back onto the ground with a satisfied grin on his face before giving her a quick but affectionate kiss on the cheek, almost nearing the edge of her lips.

All of his actions surprised everyone, but no one had anything to say about it except James, who was standing right there beside them.
