As Lucifer placed his phone on the bedside table and stretched, he heard someone yawn behind him.

"Hey handsome... Are you already awake?" Melody asked in a soft, sleepy voice. Lucifer turned to see her lying on her side, looking at him with a warm smile.

"Morning, beautiful," Lucifer replied as he sat on the bed next to her. He leaned in close to kiss her lips, and Melody responded by wrapping her arm around his neck and pulling him down onto the mattress.

The kiss lasted longer than Lucifer intended, and he soon felt a pair of soft hands slide over his shoulders, pulling him deeper into her embrace. She wrapped both arms around his body, holding tight to prevent him from escaping.
