Hope couldn't find a word, as her eyes fixed on the handsome face in front of her. Lucien had dark eyes, so dark, like the night sky and full with mystery, he was so gorgeous, until it was unfair.
And that full lips that had kissed every inch of her skin, tugged upward to form a smile.
"What with the look on your face? Are you surprised, my sweet Hope?" Lucien leaned over and kissed her swollen lips tenderly, he nibbled for a moment, as if he wanted to savor her taste a little bit longer, before he pulled himself back and watched how Hope blushed. "Do you like what you see?"
Hope was surprised and only then she realized that she was ogling at him. "No." She lowered her head, as fast as when she lied.
"You can't lie to me, little one," Lucien grinned and kissed her temple this time.
Hope felt butterflies in her stomach.
