"Ah, but it seems you do have one intelligent friend after all," Butler James declared suddenly, a hint of amusement in his voice.

Kyoji followed Butler James's gaze and spotted Frederick, who seemed to have just finished the exam. He was leaving his designated spot and heading back towards his master.

Kyoji wasn't surprised that Frederick was the second person to complete the test. It was completely within his expectations.

"To be expected, wouldn't you say? He is, after all, the most gifted young mind of the current Gilles family generation. Anything less would be surprising," Kyoji responded, offering a friendly smile to Frederick, who had now turned in their direction.
