Chapter 7: Meeting
The Fremen Pilgrims left the capital as soon as they regained some semblance of sanity. They headed back to their respective sietches to inform their people that their messiah is here.
Sietches are underground cities, or hidden cities, that serve as settlements for the Fremen People. Some of them contain hundreds if not thousands.
The estimate of the empire was that Fremen are just around a thousand but in reality they are around hundreds thousands.
Their culture revolves around the desert and the sacredness of water. That's why when they saw someone conjure water from thin air, it was no doubt for them that this was the coming of their messiah.
And this was crucial for Jake and the upcoming ambush from the emperor and House Harkonnen. He would need the mighty fighting prowess of the Fremen if he wants to save his family from annihilation from the Sardaukar

Council Room:
There were seven people present in the council room.
Duke Leto Atreides. The head of House Atreides, preparing to take on the stewardship of Arrakis.
Lady Jessica. Duke Leto's concubine and a member of the Bene Gesserit, mother to Paul and Jake Atreides.
Paul Atreides. The second son of House Atreides, present to learn and understand the responsibilities and dangers of Arrakis.
Thufir Hawat. The Mentat and Master of Assassins for House Atreides, providing strategic and political counsel.
Gurney Halleck.The Warmaster of House Atreides, responsible for the training and leadership of the Atreides military forces.
Duncan Idaho. The Swordmaster of House Atreides, and the Swordmaster the Ginaz, he is a loyal and skilled warrior.
Dr. Wellington Yueh. The Suk Doctor of House Atreides, responsible for the health and well-being of the family and their retainers.
"My son had another vision." Duke Leto said, bringing silence to the room. Everyone here knows what that implies, it means danger is looming.
The Heir's vision has never been wrong, it was what steered House Atreides into great political upbringing.
Everyone in the room figured out that the reason for this meeting is to discuss Jake's vision and prepare.
"Where is Jake?" Asked Jessica.
"He will be here soon, he told me he has something to do first." Paul answered.
And is if on cue the door of the council room opened and the sharply dressed young man entered.
"I greet the Duke." He greeted and waited for Duke Leto to nod.
Nod
After getting a reply he sat next to the Duke after bowing down to him.
"Now we will begin the Council Meeting." The Duke commenced.
"Son, tell them your vision." Jake stood up from his seat and started recalling what happened in the film, he disguised his knowledge of the film as a prophetic vision to make it more believable.
And besides he does truly have vision that can peer into the future because he wrote it down in the Book of Omnipotence.
Speaking of the Book of Omnipotence, it was tied within his soul and he can recall it to his will. He can even escape this universe at this moment and go to another universe but he won't do that.
He would enjoy the adventure here first before venturing into another reality.
"It was deep in the night. The systems are down. The Duke is poisoned, everything is on fire. We will be attacked by the Sardaukar disguised as the Harkonnen. Betrayed by one of our own." Jake said.
Each word conjured from his mouth made everyone's face wear a grave expression. The atmosphere in the room dropping down into absolute zero from the sheer gravity of the revelation upon them.
Then Jake landed his eyes on Dr. Yueh which startled the latter.
"She is dead, Dr. Yueh. Your wife Wanna is already dead, the Harkonnen killed her so this betrayal of yours is pointless." Jake revealed to them. In the film and in the book it was Dr. Yueh who betrayed the Atreides by poisoning the Duke and opening the defense system which gave the Sardaukar a way to penetrate through and massacre the Atreides.
He betrayed them at the price of his wife's life which is already dead. The Harkonnens just said that she was alive when in fact she is already gone.
"I-is she truly dead…?" Dr. Yueh muttered in despair to which Jake only nodded with a grave expression.
"Dr. Yueh, I cannot help but sympathize for your loss but your betrayal deserves punishment." Duke Leto said.
"I would normally have you executed but your betrayal has not yet happened. And it would be a loss of manpower for us if I have you removed. So as your punishment, serve House Atreides even if it costs you your life; sacrifice it if the situation calls for it. In exchange, I will help you get your revenge against the Harkonnens." Duke Leto declared which made Dr. Yueh teared up.
"T-thank you for your grace my Lord, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry…!" He said as he slammed his head into the table.
After that was done, they took their time to strategize for the upcoming Sardaukar attack. But of course no matter how much prepared they are, the combined forces of the Harkonnen and the Sardaukar would prove fatal to them.
"We can prepare our best and there's a chance that we can get through this but it would be at a greater cost. This is the Sardaukar we are talking about, we would need our entire force just to survive." Thufir said to which everyone solemnly agree.
"We must sacrifice." Duke Leto said. However before they could decide on a final decision Jake intervened.
"I have a solution." He raised his hand. Every eye in the room turned to him, there was something in his eyes that made them somehow calm.
The confidence in it instilled confidence in them.
"The Fremen. They are our solution." At that word everyone gasped and amongst them all Jessica was the most surprised.
"The Bene Gesserit have planted propaganda here in Arrakis that a messiah from the outer world will come. I will assume that position and gather every Fremen on this planet and have them under my command. This way we can defend ourselves from the Sardaukar and at the same time have a weapon that can slit the emperor's throat." Jake declared shocking everyone.
