章 23: Rudra's War room

Rudra stood in his war room, his expression grim as he pored over the reports detailing Veldora's rampage.

His frustration was palpable, hands clenched into fists at his sides.

Despite his immense power and influence, he had been unable to intervene in time to prevent the catastrophe.

"We can't let this continue," Rudra muttered, pacing back and forth.

"Veldora's destruction is spreading like wildfire."

Beside him stood Guy Crimson, the Primordial Rouge, and his two subordinates, Bleu and Vert.

Guy's usual arrogance was tempered by the gravity of the situation.

Even the powerful demon lord recognized the necessity of their uneasy alliance.

"The situationis getring glarinly concerning overtime, and from what i understand it will only continue to get worse as long as his skill is in effect" Guy said, his voice low and serious.

"Veldora's moving almost at the speed of thought. We need to find a way to intercept him

Rudra nodded, the weight of their task heavy on his shoulders.

"I had counted on Velgrynd to help contain him, but her hesitation has cost us dearly."

Velgrynd's HesitationVelgrynd's hesitation had indeed been a significant setback.

When Rudra had approached her, hoping to mobilize her to confront Veldora, she had fallen to her knees, trembling and unable to muster the courage to face him.

"Velgrynd, we need to act now!" Rudra had urged, his voice filled with urgency.

"I... I can't," Velgrynd had stammered, her body shaking.

"His words... his anger... I can't face him."

Rudra had watched, helpless, as Velgrynd succumbed to her fears. She had been too deeply affected by Veldora's parting words, "Velgrynd, I really hate you from all of my heart."

The weight of those words had crushed her spirit, leaving her paralyzed with guilt and sorrow.

Meanwhile, Veldora had been constantly on the move, making it nearly impossible for anyone to intercept him.

He had avoided contact with Rudra, Guy and Velzard, keeping ahead of any attempts to confront him.

His relentless pursuit of destruction left a trail of devastation in his wake, further complicating any efforts to stop him.

Hours turned into days as Rudra and Guy worked tirelessly to track Veldora.

Their forces clashed with the remnants of destruction left in his wake, constantly playing catch-up as Veldora moved with a speed and unpredictability that made him a phantom of devastation.

Velgrynd, despite her initial hesitation, eventually mustered the strength to join the hunt.

Her resolve was shaky, but the support of Rudra and the unexpected alliance with Guy helped her find the courage to face her brother.

Accompanying Guy were his loyal subordinates, Bleu and Vert, both utilising their influence as Primordial Demons in their own right to keep track at least of the destruction.

Their combined efforts bolstered the hunt, adding layers of strategy and power to their mission.

After days of tireless pursuit, they tracked Veldora to the Jura Forest.

The lush and vibrant forest had been scarred by Veldora's rage, all monsters had gone into deep hiding avoiding the wrath of their god.

They found him in a cave that looked inhabited by someone as a home previously.

Veldora sat at the entrance of the cave, his head hung low on the ground.

His body was battered and bruised, a testament to the toll his rampage had taken on him.

Despite his power, he appeared defeated, broken by his own emotions.

Rudra, Guy, Bleu, and Vert approached cautiously, their combined forces surrounding the area.

Velgrynd, her heart aching at the sight of her brother's despair, stepped forward.

"Veldora," she called out softly, her voice trembling. "Please, stop this. We don't want to fight you."

Veldora looked up, his eyes filled with sorrow.

"It doesn't matter anymore," he replied, his voice hollow.

"If you want to kill me, do it. I have nothing left."

After that, Veldora fell silent, his expression hollow and unmoving.

No matter what was said, he remained unresponsive, his spirit seemingly shattered.

Guy, his usual arrogance tempered by the gravity of the situation, remained silent.

He understood that no words could reach Veldora in his current state.Rudra tried once more, his tone softer.

"We can find a way to help you, but you need to stop running and face this together with us."

Veldora's eyes flickered with annoyance.

"I said, it doesn't matter anymore." He looked at them, a mix of anger and despair in his gaze.

"If you can't understand that, then leave me be."

Velgrynd stepped closer, tears in her eyes. "We'll find a way to make this right"

Veldora's frustration boiled over. "Enough!" he roared.

"I don't need your pity or your help!"

With a sudden surge of power, Veldora activated his new unique skill, Dimension Craft.

The space around him began to warp and twist. In an instant, he created a new dimension, similar to the demon realm, and separated himself from the others.

The atmosphere around the cave changed, and a rift in the fabric of space itself appeared.

Veldora stepped through the rift, disappearing into the new dimension he had crafted.
