A bullet had pierced the head of the guard, and blood was flying in all directions. The body of the guard fell heavily backward with a dull thud to the ground. Before anyone could react, a group of soldiers in black combat fatigues burst out of the darkness, raising their guns and strafing the Western soldiers in Army green.

" What happened?" Elijah's countenance changed; he drew quickly to one side, his brows furrowed, his gaze watchful, his eyes full of suspicion and wariness as he watched the sudden group of black soldiers. Soon, he reacted, his face instantly becoming gloomy, gritting his teeth and whispering, " It's the Northern Army."
