章 1: "Rebirth"
On July 30, 1991
In the bustling streets of London, the gray sky was filled with smoke, various sounds of cars and people walking through the streets could be heard in the distance.
Without a doubt a bustling and busy city.
However, in one of those large buildings there was a young man who did not seem to fit in with everyone around him.
With a slender face and long black hair. He perched on a window sill and looked out at the noisy crowd.
This young man's name is Leo and in fact he should not exist in this world.
A few years ago while he was leaving work he came across the typical anime scene; A truck lost control on the highway and hit him before he could react.
Everything happened very quickly. Before his death, Leo could only curse the four winds. How could he be so unlucky?
When he thought that he was going to have an intimate talk with Hades... he opened his eyes again, at first he thought that he somehow survived the accident, maybe some good passerby called an ambulance and managed to save himself.
But then he realized that this was not the case, since when he 'woke up' it was not the familiar white beds or the smell of hospital medicines that he found.
In fact, quite the opposite, he stood before the doors of a huge, old and dilapidated Western building.
Compared to his height, Leo felt small, like a dwarf before a giant, like David and Goliath.
Before waking up in this strange place, Leo liked to read many stories, especially stories with mysticism, sets of stories, myths and legends belonging to the religion of Ancient Greece.
Hence; when he saw the huge doors and his motionless body without being able to say a word.
He could only think that he was at the very gates of hell, while he, an unfortunate soul, awaited his judgment.
So he closed his eyes and waited...

Before he thought deeper, he was attracted by a crisp sound.
The doors opened slowly, but it was not the long-awaited grim reaper, but a middle-aged nun with a tough appearance, hard as a rock.
Although it wasn't the terrifying ferryman who carries lost souls down the River Styx, from Leo's perspective it was just as terrifying, if not worse.
The strange woman bent down and picked Leo up from the ground like a kitten.
Leo was very scared, looking at his huge fierce face, thinking that they were going to eat him but contrary to his expectations, very familiar words came out of his mouth.
"Every day there are more careless parents, how can they abandon their children like this, especially on a stormy night like this?" The woman expressed her annoyance but her face did not change in the slightest.
And Leo, who was in her arms, finally reacted.
'I see... it all makes sense now.'

Leo tried to articulate his words but only babbling came out of his mouth which seemed to confirm his thoughts.
Some time passed and Leo, who had come out of the shock, could only cry for his future.

Leo just wanted to tell him no, the problem was that he had a small mental gap.
After all, it's not every day you go from a healthy young adult to a baby who can't even clean his own pants.

Leo could only imagine his near future with tears in his eyes, he thought that nothing could get worse in his current situation, but how wrong he was; for what would happen next was something he could not forget for as long as he lived.

That? Don't you believe it? Well, when he was just a baby and was just receiving care, he was attacked by a snake in the crib, but somehow he managed to strangle it to death, at first even he was shocked; just like Hercules being able to hang a snake in the cradle as a baby...
It definitely wasn't something a normal baby would be able to do, however, the weird stuff didn't stop there.
When he was in third grade, a strange man followed him to school, by the time he called the teachers, he had mysteriously disappeared and they never believed him when he told them that he was a one-eyed giant.
And in the fourth grade, on one occasion he was left behind by the bus and while he was frantically chasing it he accidentally hit the bus door and fell into a hole... fortunately no one saw him doing it since it would be difficult to explain that event.
On another occasion when he was on a school trip to the Delphin World water park, next to the pool full of dolphins, he realized that he could feel their call, he could even talk to them and command them.
As for how he found out, well, when the bullying kids at school pushed him into the pool, he made them get an unplanned swim.
Once in the water he discovered that he felt full of strength and felt an inexplicable affinity when being in contact with it.
At that time Leo thought that this is how fish should feel when they are returned to the sea after being on land for a long time.
Over the years more and more strange things happened around him, Leo counted and was expelled from eight schools over the course of six years.
It wasn't until sixth grade that Leo realized something and that is that he may not be human but a demigod.
As for the reason, well, I think it goes without saying.
For Leo, who is a fan of mythical stories and gods, it was not difficult to discover that his powers corresponded to those of a specific work.
And surprisingly, it was one that he knew a lot about, it did not belong to mythology as such, but to the works of the very famous writer Rick Riordan.

Thinking about future battles and adventures, Leo undoubtedly wanted to have his place in them, during his previous life everything was too boring for him, for this reason he took refuge in books and novels to enter new 'worlds'.
For this reason he was willing to ignore the danger and live in this world as a living bait. But there was still something that puzzled him, he was currently in London and not in the United States where the main story takes place.
Furthermore he never heard of a certain 'Leo' son of Poseidon in the books.
He perhaps died before appearing or perhaps he simply decided not to participate in the events afterwards, although that would be unlikely.
Well, the important thing is that once he determined the origin of his powers he was finally able to find a direction to train.
And that brings us to today...

In the distance where no one could see, an old owl flew over the city.
The owl landed on a window sill, but was pushed away by a merciless hand.
He flapped his wings again and flew from the 56 square kilometer district of Redbridge to northeast London.
Eventually, he ended up arriving at an orphanage called Miss Cathar.

Leo was bored looking at the chaotic city of London from the window of his room.
And before his eyes, an owl seemed to be coming in his direction, well, it didn't seem like it was definitely coming and at that speed...

"Poff!" With a loud sound he crashed against the bedroom window.
'Ouch...that must hurt.'
Although a little dazed, he quickly stood up and came to where Leo was lying, jumping slightly.
The little boy stared at him while he tilted his head.
"Oh, that's for me?" Leo asked as he pointed to himself.
The old owl seemed to understand his words and let out a sound of agreement.
Leo was not very surprised and accepted it very calmly, he has spoken with dolphins and now that he knows that he lives in Rick Riordan's books, he does not find anything strange about an owl understanding his words.
In fact, he believed that nothing could surprise him anymore.
Leo took the letter that the animal gave him and after turning it over he saw the logo that was on the front of it...
For a few seconds Leo stared blankly into space, as if he were once again doubting the existence of life.
'Maybe I should stop raising so many red flags'
'Or maybe shut my big mouth.'
Wanting to confirm that it was true and not a bad joke, he quickly opened the letter, on which he wrote in emerald green ink:
