NATHAN
I turned in bed and watched as the breeze turned my curtains from one side to the other. I watched as the seconds on the clock moved round and battled with the numbness I felt thinking about it all and wondering how I had allowed myself to feel all I felt in the past few months.
My thoughts were still finding it hard to align when a knock disrupted me from thinking, again. It was the fifth time someone was coming to my door and I knew it would be no one else but my dad, considering that he needed to rub it in my face that he told me. I had walked into him sitting in the room the night before when I got back from the hospital. With the look on his face, it was obvious he knew all that happened from rescuing Jasmine to leaving the hospital just so I would not kill anyone.
"I guess I could say I told you so." He said.
I sighed.
