As the game started, Wagner was particularly excited. Werder Bremen launched fierce attacks on Union Berlin, hoping to win and vent his anger. But less than half an hour in...
"Su! It's Su Luo again! Union Berlin's quick counterattack, Su Luo dribbles the ball forward at high speed! He passed two players, broke into the penalty area, and shot! The ball hits the net!"

Union Berlin had overtaken Wolfsburg in the standings after four consecutive victories and were only two points behind Bayern Munich. Bayern Munich was under a lot of pressure with their last match of the first half being against the strong Wolfsburg, and it was an away game.
Union Berlin's opponent was Stuttgart, who were in poor form this season. If Bayern lost points and Union Berlin got 3 points, the top spot would change hands before the winter break. This was not a good sign for Bayern's championship hopes!
Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola said:
"We will firmly win the winter championship and defend the league title!"
However, that night, Wolfsburg handed Bayern a severe defeat.
