"Please we need a break," Kaori pleaded, her limbs shaking from exhaustion, her breath coming in gasps.

Kaori's body strained to its limit and her muscles burning with effort tries to get up from the floor but her efforts are wasted.

Maria sneers at the sight of Kaori's struggle, her eyes narrowing in disgust.

"Weak," she scowled.

Maria turned her gaze to the others who who lie sprawled on the floor breathing rapidly, their chest heaving with each labored breath.

Maria, her face a portrait of disdain, shakes her head, her disbelief evident in each deliberate movement of her head.

"You expect to defeat the advanced yomigaeri with this pathetic show of weakness?" she snaps, her voice a whip-crack of scorn that stings the air.
