"You two have done a wonderful job,"
Eurus applauded, her voice like a gentle chime as she hovered above Ezekiel's head.
"It's indeed true that you certainly inherit the blood of Ventus. After all, you're a direct descendant of the first ancestor of wind."
Ezekiel, his heart swelling with pride, immediately dropped to one knee, bowing his head in reverence.
"Thank you, Great Spirit Eurus," he murmured, his voice filled with respect and awe.
Eurus turned her gaze towards Julian, a thoughtful expression on her face.
"As for him... there's still something I cannot fully understand about the other child," she mused.
"He may not have control of it now, but I'm certain that one day, he will save this world from ruin."
Julian, who had been watching the exchange with a puzzled expression, finally spoke up.
"Uh... blonde person... who are you kneeling to?" he asked, tilting his head to the side.
"Is there someone there?"
Ezekiel's cheeks flushed with embarrassment as he realized he had been caught talking to thin air.
He quickly scrambled to his feet, brushing off his clothes and trying to regain his composure.
"Ah, it's nothing," he stammered, avoiding Julian's curious gaze. "Just a... a habit of mine."
Eurus giggled, her laughter like the tinkling of wind chimes.
"He can't see me, you know," she whispered in Ezekiel's ear.
"He is indeed an interesting one."
Just as Julian was about to scamper off into the undergrowth, he paused, turning back to face Ezekiel. "You asked for my name, right?" he said, his voice clear and surprisingly mature for a five-year-old. "It's Julian. Julian Ryker Uzziel."
A genuine smile spread across Ezekiel's face. "It's nice to meet you, Julian," he replied, bowing slightly in a gesture of respect. "My name is Ezekiel Aslan Ryan."
Julian's eyes widened, a flicker of recognition passing over his features. "Ezekiel?" he repeated, a hint of awe in his voice. "I guess I'll be seeing you later. And if we don't... we'll meet eventually."
With a final wave, Julian disappeared into the thick undergrowth, leaving Ezekiel alone with Eurus.
Ezekiel watched the boy's departure, a thoughtful expression on his face.
"Is he really my age?"
He wondered aloud, marvelling at Julian's unusual maturity and the strange energy that seemed to surround him.
Eurus, who had remained silent throughout the exchange, suddenly spoke up.
"Hey, Ezekiel," she said, her voice a playful whisper.
"I think I've decided what I want to do. And I don't think you want to miss this."
Ezekiel turned to face her, a quizzical look on his face.
"What do you mean, Great Spirit?"
Eurus's form shimmered, and a playful smirk danced across her lips.
"Ezekiel Aslan Ryan Ventus," she declared, her voice resonating with an otherworldly power, "I'd like to make a contract with you."
Ezekiel's heart skipped a beat.
A contract with a Great Spirit?
This was an extraordinary opportunity, a chance to forge a bond that could change his destiny forever.
"What do you say?" Eurus crossed her arms flying above the pond.
Ezekiel knew that Great Spirits were typically confined to the realm of stories. Yet, this one, once close with his family, represented a chance to prove his worth when he returned to Aetheris.
"It would be my greatest honour," he replied, bowing before Eurus on one bended knee.
And finally...
Eurus, the Great Spirit of Wind, became the first Origin Spirit in a millennium to contract herself with a human.

Yawnnnn...
What a day... I had never expected to encounter Ezekiel on my first experience of going outside.
Especially since he was one of the more pivotal characters in this story.
He along with 3 other characters were destined heirs to become rulers of their respective Kingdoms after they completed their time at gaining recognition, credits and achievements for the Academy that they'll soon be attending: Aethel Academy.
Aethel Academy.
The most prolific and highest-ranked academy in the world, Aethel Academy is home to all royal figures and the main characters within this story's plot.
Renowned for its teachings and for producing the strongest heroes and figures in the world, the academy holds a prestigious position in global politics, with many influential figures from the seven main continents having attended Aethel.
Although I plan on attending, passing the entrance exams isn't guaranteed.
My knowledge is limited to the plot and character progression, so I'll need to study extensively.
If I can find similarities and gaps in the common understanding of magic, I might barely scrape by on the theory exam.
As for the practical... I should be okay.
There are just some events that I'd rather witness than participate in.
Apart from that!

My first mission has been completed.
And now I have a new skill added to my arsenal and hopefully, it's a good one.

Observation Skill: This skill allows the user to see detailed information about a target, including their level, magical affinity(strength, agility, etc.), skills, and notable traits. However, this information is only revealed if the user has prior knowledge of the target's identity. Once a target's information is revealed, the user can also see their goals and aspirations.

The perfect skill for someone like me.
Now I can finally look at my mother's skills and abilities.
I already know she's an extremely skilled woman, given how talented she is in general.
She always does the handy work for me, like those times I accidentally broke parts of my bed or even when I hit my head as a baby.
She was always there for me whenever I got hurt or did something wrong.
So, maybe when she gets home, I'll test out how viewing a character's window works.
