"Here is a copy of the dashcam footage, though I don't think it's any good." The owner of the blue car handed the USB stick to Atlas, sighing. "The quality isn't great, and I doubt it caught anything."

Atlas smiled appreciatively at the owner. "Even so, thank you for giving me a copy. I really appreciate it."

"Man…" The man looked at Atlas from head to toe, discerning that he was well off. "My car was parked far from the incident, though. Is it really going to be helpful?"

"Yes." Atlas nodded. "I'll take this with me. Thank you."

"Ah…" The man waved a little, still confused as Atlas turned around. "Wait, can I ask you one question?"

"Yes?"

"Why aren't the officers doing this?"

Atlas smiled at him. "They're working on it, but I'd like to help hasten the investigation."

"Ahh…" The man rocked his head. "This person must be very important to your family, huh?"
