It wasn't like the Pierson Family or Pierson Corporation was unknown to Atlas. In fact, he had often heard about them on the rare occasions he attended some events. However, he had paid them no mind, as he had no plans to associate with or offend them.
"Hah!" the chairman sighed heavily, glaring daggers at his grandson. "Atlas, if stepping down will appease them, then you should clear out your desk today."
Atlas glanced at his grandfather, a man he never truly felt was one. "I encountered a Pierson, but I don't believe I offended him."
"Hmph! If you didn't offend the Piersons, then why are they here?" the chairman snorted. "You brat! You've only been in that position for a short while, but it seems the little power you hold has gone to your head!"
"Grandpa, I think Atlas might be telling the truth," Sven remarked politely, suddenly siding with Atlas. However, Atlas knew his cousin all too well.
