The maids managed to clean up the room in the time Desmond and Leonor were in the library and he had to push down the blankets with one arm to place his wife in the soft pillows. 

For a moment, Desmond simply looked down at his beautiful wife. Her body was one he had seen countless times by that point but he would never get used to it or take it for granted. 

All he could think about was how he was incomparable to her yet she was offering him something so precious and trusted him to take care of her. The taste of her was still fresh on his tongue. 

He wanted to see how she would respond if he tasted her in broad daylight. Could he take her to the level she was at when she was uninhibited and drunk? There were times he had seen her completely forget about hiding her voice as she fell into the bounds of pleasure. 

He wanted that for her again before anything else could begin.
