Evan's lab buzzed with activity as he meticulously crafted each batch of nanowires. 

Every seven hours, he would complete a batch and immediately convert the nanowires into qubits and store them in a specialized refrigerator to preserve their integrity. 

As he worked, Aurora, his AI assistant, monitored the process and provided periodic updates. Evan's face, set in determined concentration, occasionally softened with a smile at Aurora's reassuring notifications. 

"Aurora, how's the status of the current batch?" Evan asked, his eyes never leaving the machine. 

[Processing the current batch. Everything is on track.]

Evan nodded, his expression focused but hopeful. When he wasn't working on the nanowires, he would immerse himself in writing the intricate code for the quantum chip architecture. 

Meanwhile, Aurora continued to track his schedule, her tone gentle but firm.

[Sir, don't forget to eat and take a break.] Aurora reminded him.
