The table fell silent after Damian spoke. 

No one had heard Damian speak before, so it was rumoured he could not speak. That was the only defect this alpha was said to have.

But it had suddenly been debunked. No one expected this outcome, so they were shocked to see this happen.

"Dami, it looks like you shocked them all speechless. I told you to speak up more. Why do you ignore everything except things that concern Rika?"

Emily did not look surprised by what happened.

Instead, she looked proud, and her face brightened as she looked at her mate.

"Too bothersome."

That was Damian's reply; no one dared to say anything more to him.

Suzie could not take this anymore. 

The longer she stayed in that atmosphere, the more agitated she felt by events that were not under her control.

No one was paying attention to her, despite him being the only omega present anywhere nearby.
