Earthquake.
( Ena's POV )
Before the creature attacked again I picked up a pipe and hit the ground to try to break the girl out of her paralysis, That didn't work but the creature seemed to have completely forgotten about the girl so I didn't have to worry about protecting her.
When the creature charged at me again I kicked a trash can in its path but it destroyed it without any effort, I sidestepped his attack again and swung my pipe with all my strength at his head but that had no effect other than annoying him, Clearly this thing was physically more powerful than me but I far surpassed it in intelligence.
Without bothering to remove its head from the wall, the creature kicked me with its hind hooves, sending me crashing into the wall right next to the girl.
???: are you OK?
Ena: urgh never been better, everything according to plan.
The girl finally spoke to me and although she was not very convinced of what I said, I was not lying, I think the adrenaline was keeping me moving and I still had my plan, full of fury the creature tried to finish me off with one final lunge, Next to me there were a bunch of metal tubes and when the creature was too close to me to dodge, I lifted the tubes, With the base resting against the wall I managed to make the creature impale itself.
Then the creature exploded into a cloud of darkness, I was too tired to move and the last thing I remember before fainting was part of the black cloud entering my body.
I saw the girl checking to make sure she was okay but at that moment everything went black.

After my strange encounter, I heard nine bells ringing and I stood up abruptly, I looked around and I saw the four familiar walls of my room, Somehow I returned to my house and I ran my hands over my body and I didn't seem to have any serious injuries.
Ena: Maybe all that was a dream?
Everything seemed normal so I got ready for you to go to school as usual But the moment I left my house I saw the girl from the other night standing at the door of my house and she was wearing my school uniform.
Ena: hey... Good morning.
???: Good morning.
Ena: hey it feels weird to ask this but do you remember what happened the other night?
???: The night before, of course, I couldn't forget that, you saved me from an animal attack and then carried me back to my house.
Animal attack, that's not wrong but doesn't she remember the strange creature that could paralyze with his gaze? Plus I don't remember taking her home, well that's definitely something I would do.
Ena: oh right, I forgot to ask your name, I'm Ena.
???: I know that, you are famous at school, nice to meet you, my name is Aigis.
Ena: I guess that's true, speaking of school we should go if we don't want to be late.
Aigis: yeah, you are right.
Aigis and I walked together and along the way, I told her my version of what had happened the night before and I also questioned her like I were a detective, attacks by strange shadowy creatures and mysterious app with demons as a theme and both can mess with your memories, There's no way this isn't related in some way.
Aigis seemed to think the same because she was quite intrigued by all this, I decided to invite her to sit with us at lunch, where we will discuss what happened to the others.
When we arrived at the entrance of the school Ryuji saw us walking together, He ran up to me and put his arm around my shoulder and he told Aigis that we needed to talk privately so she went into the school first.
Ryuji: your dog! I didn't think you'd take what I said so seriously, first Ann and Io, and now this, how many girls are you after?
Ena: Dude, you seriously misunderstand the situation.
Ryuji: am I?
We went into our classroom and there I gave him and Ann some of the details of what happened the other night and Ann was a little doubtful, I don't blame her but I'm almost sure that's what happened, we decided that we would investigate the scene of the incident after school.
Afterward, the classes continued normally but suddenly I started to feel that strange sensation from the other night, but the intensity this time was almost unbearable, my body began to shake and I clutched my chest in painAnn looked at me worried but before she could do anything a powerful earthquake shook the school, everyone took shelter except for me, Ann pulled me down the desk with her and she was trying to tell me something but I couldn't hear her, All sound disappeared for me and suddenly I could hear twelve powerful bells like all the previous nights and when they were finally over I stood up and looked at the window, Outside there was a huge wave of darkness sweeping through the city and coming towards us fast, and when it hit the school building all the windows exploded and I was thrown back, While I was on the ground some of that black smoke entered my body and everything turned black to me.
Ann: na... Ena... Ena wake up!
I was half expecting to wake up in my bed and that this was all a weird dream, but when Ann's voice pulled me out of my thoughts, I opened my eyes to see our classroom was a mess and a worried Ann, shaking me awake.
Ena: stop that, I'm awake okay.
Relieved, she hugged me tightly, which took me by surprise, but I hugged her back.
We separated after a few seconds and we turned to Ryuji's direction, he was fine and I moved towards him to help him up,
Then the three of us looked through the broken windows at the unbelievable state of our city.
